   It should be possible to go to the trash can and view/recover previously deleted msgs.
   Similar to just about Every email service provider/app, it should be possible specify the time deleted msgs are retained, along with the option to permanently delete them.

   Google messages has one. Every email service has one. I have my undergrad students create spam filters as homework assignments. It wouldn't be challenging for Textra to add one.

15. Sort block list by date

    I occasionally block list a sender by mistake. It is time consuming and very frustrating scrolling through my numerous blocked senders to try and find the error. 16. Categorize known versus unknown contact messages.

    Next SMS app auto separates messages from your contact list from unknown (unnamed) contacts. I like this feature for my business as it allows me to more easily keep my friends and clients in one text list and unknown (potential future clients) in a separate list. This works well until they become a paying client and I then assign a name to their #. It keeps things a little more orderly, instead of one long list of known contacts jumbled up with unknowns.

    I get dozens of texts a day from a political fundraising group that got a hold of my number. They sell my phone number to every political group known to man on a daily basis. They tell me to unsubscribe from each person's campaign one at a time and they aren't responsible when in fact they are the ones who sell my number every day. I need to export all of the chats I've unsubscribed to so I can report to the FCC their illegal abuse of my data. There are hundreds if not thousands that I want to export via a txt file, pdf file or whatever method might be possible.
