Signature on outgoing text
Simple request I have, but Textra is simplistic app. Have the ability to leave a signature on outgoing text. Maybe even a certain signature on individual numbers.

your messages from coworkers could go to one tab, while your messages from your family could go to another tab.

quick link to contact on home
the standard android service let the user put a link to a specific contact on home, so that you can message him/her right from the main page without opening the general sms service. could you add the same function too? thanks

Hello! I think it would be very beneficial as incentive to become a Pro User if you offered benefits (other than no ads) maybe more personalization abilities, alerts, I'm sure you guys can think of something great. But I really think there would be more reason to become a pro user if there were more perks that came with it!

wallpapers and themes
for at least 5 years Textra users have been asking you on Google to add wallpapers or themes for background and from what I could see you've not responded to any of them. this would make the Textra app next to perfect. if it weren't for the giphys available through your site so easily I would switch

Auto retry to send failed messages
Please create a feature where failed messages can be set to automatically retry until successful, within a number of attempts, or within a set timeframe.

Better camera
the camera used by Textra is quite poor, especially in low light. it would be wonderful if there was a way to interface with the existing camera software on the phone and utilize that to take pictures, or to completely overhaul Textra's camera so that it better addresses different situations when one would take a photograph and send it via text message.

Security Messages: this may be a stretch. an option that can make a specific contact's, or a group chat to be only accesible via a 4 digit pin or keyboard password. coule ve potentially possible for someone who doesn't know or have a protected phone, and those who look at conversations where they aren't supposed to.

Message read notification
I see you all said that global will not allow you all to display a check mark or the word "message read" when the recipient read the message but What's app allow me to see when my recipient read the message by making two check marks green. Maybe you all can look into that but other than that this app is great!!

Optimization notification bar
On Android 8.1 the background of the notification bar is darker than the top of the Textra application, could you make that the color is the same as in Android Messages, because it looks better. Thanks

Custom color for delayed mssg countdown timer
Know that bar in the background of the message being sent, that counts down the time when delayed sending is active? It would be nice to customize that color, too, so it matches the theme I chose for my user interface.
