  3. badge app notification number

    please reinstate the badge app notification number on the home screen I am so sick and tired of not seeing my messages anymore thinking that I have nothing there please. this was the only reason I downloaded Textra what so I could have that icon with the number next to it what's the point of having a text message icon if I don't know how many messages are there

  4. Secure certain sms or mms messages only

    example is I want to hide or secure sensative or certain messages from specific senders only so that no one else can see them. instead of using an app to secure all messages etc....brilliant idea I know )

  5. Ambiant display

    Give the option to use the ambiant display feature instead of waking up the whole screen when receiving a message, like Facebook Messenger and many other apps do. It is much cleaner that way.

    Bonjour
    Pouvez-vous créer une notification sonore lorsque le sms ou le mms est REÇU par le destinataire ?
    Ce serait très utile et ça existe déjà sur d'autres messageries, donc faisable.

  7. Lock the Contact

    To lock every single text you send people that are so important to you that you dont want to accidentally delete them, is cumbersome to select them. Then eventually have to De-Select hundreds to eventually delete them. So why not just have a way to "Lock" the entire conversation with just one click????

  10. Delivery report is not working

    Sorry if it's not an idea but... even if I have the option enable for sms and mms, I get no delivery report in textra. If I use the default application (Galaxy S5), delivery reports are well there.
    Any Idea on what I do wrong? Thanks !

  11. Thread Merging

    I have a couple of group text threads that are to a lot of the same people (1 person is missing from one of them which caused the app to create a separate thread). I would love to be able to merge them into a single thread. Hope you guys can find a way to. Make that happen.

    There is a significant risk to the default choice of the sim for sending the message.
    Would it be possible to create in the application settings a button that selects the preferred sim card?

  14. Notification sound for my contacts, another for non-contacts

    I get texts from people who are my contacts and from bots or companies/organizations not in my contacts. I'd like to set one notification sound for texts received from numbers in my contacts and a different notification sound for texts from any number not in my contacts.

  15. Different auto-responses for different contacts

    Wouldn't it be awesome if we could customize different auto-responses for different contacts/groups? I coordinate different groups often by text and sometimes need them to know I'm unavailable, but don't want my wife to get the same text. Or how many of us have that annoying person who constantly texts and we would like to auto-responses that we are on perpetual vacation? 🤣

  16. Thank you for default settings

    Thank you for the default setting for Web Previews. I always hated them, and you finally allowed us to disable it. When reinstalling on a new phone, I noticed that the default was Off, which is just the way it should be! Thanks!

  20. Group Messaging Modified Ignore

    When muting a group message create a setting where one or more keywords will still create a notification. For example, if your name is Matt and you ignore your family's group chat, you may still want to know if your name is brought up. Would allow you to ignore group chats except when it particularly involves a certain subject.
