  1. Send contact information or vCard as attachment. It's the one feature handcent has that I need that Textra doesn't

    The ability to attach a contact is something I use daily, I only send the contact as plain text never as a true vCard because I like knowing any phone can receive it. This definitely isn't a hard feature to program and would provide so much more functionality.

  2. Option to remove the detailed timestamp (only have 1 time show for received messages)

    Having two times appear for received messages (one for when the message was sent to you and one for when you actually received it) isn't helpful and clutters the screen when I view the timestamps. I would like to see an option that allows users to see either both or just one based on what they prefer.

  3. A larger pop-up notification in the middle of the screen.

    I would like an option for a popup notification in the middle of the screen, not just on top. I want to be able to just glance down and see the whole message.

  5. Add a Dialer

    It would be so cool if you could add a dialer in the app when you call somebody. That way I won't have to go to the stock dialer. It would be an all-in-one app!!! :)

  7. Mark as read/longer repeat intervals

    With the new pop-up reply, there is no mark as read. just open, call, or delete. also it would be sweet increase the repeat time to whatever we want instead of just 2 minutes. I would like a longer time like every 10 or 20 minutes.

  9. allow custom colour/font colour. existing options are not very good.

    Chomp allows full theme customization. since update to msterial design, colour options are somewhat lacking

  13. Floating notification focus on OTP codes (one time password)

    floating notifications are great to quickly see incoming messages. unfortunately it only shows one line of the message. i frequently receive OTP codes in SMS when i try to log in to things like bank accounts. when the one-time password or one-time pin code is shown in the floating notification, i can immediately enter it in the app below it which is usually what sent me the otp. however right now it only works for otp visible in that one line. it will be great if the floating notification can show the otp in a message if it intelligently detects…

    you can make a contact into a secret contact. you're conversations will only appear in the secret conversation box. this box can only be accessed by pressing a secret button and typing a password.

  15. Give an option to disable swiping.

    One of the only issues I have with Textra is when I accidentally swipe and it brings me back to the inbox menu from the conversation menu. It's a reccuring problem, and an option to disable swiping altogether would be very helpful. Thanks!

  19. Show the status of MMS and SMS message if sent or not.

    I would like to make a suggestion of adding a status to the messaging system of SMS and MMS to show whether or not the messages have been sent or not. In doing so this can show whether or not the message or messages needs to be resent or not.
