  1. Group messages from unknown contacts

    I always have a lot of unique messages when I sell something or when I do carpooling. I used to have an application that made a group with all messages from numbers that are not saved in my contacts. Improves readability in conversations list

  3. Call a number received in sms

    Really? If I receive a telephone number in the sms, I only have the option to save the number. If I want to call... Paper and pencil. And I thought we are in 2018...

  6. customize

    Message bubble shapes, background, live or 3d background, head notification (also banners of messages received should be different than white or shape), and see someone typing in dots (knowing that they are texting you. so no one would stare at the screen till their message pops up).

  7. more per contact customization

    I absolutely love the customization by contact, it's one of my favorite things about this app. But it would be great if you could customize font color and emoji style by contact as well. Font color for contacts with harder to read colors and emoji style for iPhone contacts.

  8. Safety First

    Many states have laws against texting while driving. How about a driving button which sends an auto text, "Sorry so and so is driving right now and can't respond"

  9. please block iOS liking a txt

    no idea how you can possibly do this, but iOS users liking a txt, annoyingly repeats the whole txt back and serves no useful purpose. ok, that may be 60% rant, but still, you deserve an award if you can figure a way to stop this before it really gets out of hand. thank you.

    The light theme needs some work. Could you make it look the same as Android Messages? I don't know why but something seems off about it.

  13. allow moving of the back button to near where the android back button is

    Android 8.0 constantly is hiding the back button before I am finished using it, because it requires more than one press, but hides after the first press on the heads-up view (when Textra temporarily overlaps all other apps). The built-in back button on Textra is at the very top left, completely away from where the thumb is, so I have to switch hands and fingers everytime I want to exit Textra, which is annoying enough to make me want to look for other apps.   15. Samsung Navigation Bar - Please match!

    I really would like the Samsung Galaxy navigation bar to match Textra! I use the dark theme a lot at night and I don't like the light navigation bar I have to use.

    I have modified it before but I want to stay with the stock navigation for now.

    Can you make it where it turns the color of the app?

    RedditIsFun app has a similar feature!

  16. copy paste images

    in addition to copy paste texts, the ability to copy and paste images without having to save in gallery. I don't want to save images, just post them to different groups without having to retype every recipient in the group

  17. Mr Messages, settings back up and Restore.

    I flash custom roms sometimes and always come back to and install textra and use as my default messaging app.
    Would be great to be able to back up messages, settings, preferences beforehand and restore it all back on a fresh set up.

  18. Group Texts Display

    It would be nice if a group text message would display the person who sent the text last instead of the person who sent the first text on the summary screen before tapping to read the actual message. For example, if "Mike" starts a group message, when you go to the summary page it always shows "Mike's" name first even if the last person to send a text to the group was "Eric". It would be nice to quickly see who sent the last text and not have to open the actual text to figure it out.
