    Please bring back the heads up notifications on the lock screen!! This went away when we got the Oreo update.

    Ça serait bien que si l'accusé de réception n'arrive pas dans un temps imparti (5mn), qu'il y ait une notification sonore au moment où on reçoit l'accusé de réception.

  3. Emergency Alert

    this past weekend in Hawaii, a false emergency alert was sent to the whole state via text. I'm sure everyone has heard about it by now. everyone in my house hold got the message on their phones via the native app. I didn't because I was using Textra as my messaging app. I didn't realize it was not available with this app. I checked my native app, the setting is there. this is disappointing not having this critical function available on this app. I really love Textra and has been my default app for the phones since I bought the…

  4. Locked messages view

    Other messaging apps allow you to filter only locked messages, and read those separately. This would be a useful feature so you can view all of your locked messages for a particular contact.

    have an option that allows you to determine how long a pop-up will appear including an "until dismissed" option

  6. Swipe to call...

    I have a Samsung Note 8 (running oreo) and in the factory message app, you can swipe left to call that contact or right to message him/her (while inside the messaging app).

    That's the only feature I really miss from the factory app. Could you please add that, please!!!

  7. THE GRAY TIME AND DATE IS HARD TO SEE.

    I THINK IT'S BETTER TO SEE THE DATE AND TIME IN WHITE, THAN IT IS TO SEE IT IN GRAY.

  8. Pro upgrade didn't transfer

    I've been a Textra Pro user for years. I recently upgraded from Galaxy S7e to Note 8 and my Pro feature is now gone. How do I get it back?

  9. Remove/relocate "Mark all as Read"

    The location of the Mark All Read feature is in a slightly awkward place, directly beneath the settings & above What's New selections. I often mistakenly hit Mark All Read when I purposely left specific messages unread to return to later. Is there any way to, if not remove (as I'm sure many others find this feature useful) then perhaps relocate the option elsewhere within the app? Thanks in advance. ☺

    When I push the button to call my phone, Textra directly calls my first SIM. Can I choose the SIM card before to call?

    Can you add an option to exit from a conversation as soon as the last text in that conversation is deleted?

  13. Do Not Disturb

    Allow there to be a function like do not disturb on this app. I use this app to prevent my son from accessing his phone during school hours but still want him get texts from me or his grandmother. if you could make a feature to mute some convos between certain times that'd be amazingly helpful

  15. no badge notifications for chats that are muted

    As a user I don't want to see any notification of chats that I have muted so I am not bothered by them in any way.

    the app already gives control over the standard notifications but the app badge still shows the number of unread messages for the muted chats. I won't want that. ;)

  16. Sim selection must be permanent

    This app auto change sim according to sms received on sim 1 or sim 2. We have mostly sms pakage only on single sim.Due to its auto change feature we are changed Extra charges because sms is sent from non pakage sim.

    the assistance for new ideias doesn't work in the app, so I'm sending my ideia here.

    new delivery reporting system:
    instead of receiving a new sms as delivery report, could simply receive a markup in the message, as in other well known message apps and social networks, I believe this would make Textra the most famous sms app,and make users very happy.

  19. Delete only current draft

    please have message to delete only the current draft being worked on. I have accidentally deleted several conversations thinking I was only deleting a draft.

    It is really a pain to use the back button to delete an entire draft when no longer want to use it or send it.
