  2. block images, MMS from unknown numbers

    I have textra images save automatically, but I didn't want unknown numbers sending images. with the election nearing, getting all kinds of spam messages. I just want images not to show up unless they are from my contacts list.

  3. mms, do not download messages from unknown contacts

    Yatta text has a nice feature that I think you should implement. When you receive an MMS message from an unknown contact, instead of downloading the message automatically, you get a normal text notification, but instead of the MMS content, a button is shown called download. This would let the user better control what messages are passed onto the device. Also an option to outright block MMS texts from unknown contacts would be good too.

    I am told I have unread messages and scroll for awhile but can't find the message. I don't want to mark as read just in case it is something I missed and need to see.

    in your top bar next to the search icon it would be extremely helpful to place an indicator icon of some sort that would indicate you received a blocked message and if you pressed that icon it would open the blocked chat with the new message

    there would be four programmable colorized tabs at the top of the app across the bar. select to get different categories.
    the tabs would consist of All, Business, Personal, Friends.

    Hello, Would you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give pro users the option to store /utilize External Storage? This app is taking up too much space on internal storage... It will break my heart if this is the reason I leave textra... I am a many years user, but I need the external storage option! Please and thank you!

  15. "Delete All" button for messages in blocklisted chats

    I use BuzzKill to automatically press Blocklist when unknown numbers text me about political stuff. It works beautifully, but it leads to a ton of spam messages being saved in blocklisted chats, and deleting them one at a time is time-consuming. Could there be a button or menu option to delete all messages in all blocklisted chats?

  17. Keep chat bubble open after sending message

    This refers to the popup from tapping on a message notification, which disappears as soon as a message is sent. As someone who send several messages consecutively, I end up opening the app anyway, and I really like using the popup rather than the app. At least make it an option to keep the popup open after sending. same with the notification disappearing after replying directly from the notification, pressing "Reply"

  18. Sorting for previously sent text strings

    When searching for a past group text that included a name in my contacts, the results should sort from newest to oldest, so I don't have to look through 25 text strings to find the most recent one the contact was a part of.

    It would be nice if there was a little check mark like telegraph uses that shows you when they get the text, and then when they actually read the text. that would be a good idea
