  1. indicator for when the other person is typing

    on other messaging apps, the other person's bubble will display a "dot dot dot" animation for when they are replying to your text. it shows they are active so you know they are about to respond. this would be super helpful

  2. Support geo: location URI scheme.

    Please, turn geo: URIs into clickable links, just like http: & https: so people don't have to depend on a specific navigation app (Google Maps), like so:

    geo:59.3842676,16.4325433

    instead of:

    https://maps.app.goo.gl/u8dQqMUkkhkGB5H36

  8. larger text size

    the current option of 150% is not all that large and would like to see it expanded. other text programs allow for really large font size that would alow me and many others not to have to use glasses when reading or sending a text.

  9. Block unknown numbers except one-time codes

    I'd love the option to block notifications from unknown numbers but still see them if there's a one-time code in it. It'd be the perfect middle ground!

    thought having a secret move would be a great idea, where if someone picked up your phone you might have a thread You don't want them to see. So a password or fingerprint would have to open up that particular thread

    either gradients of the same color to help distinguish contacts primarily in group chats or alternatively different colors entirely.

    Decouple different contact color from the header theme.

    increase the range of color options overall. It would be nicer to have options of colors that are less saturated and easier on the eyes.

    having the ability to remove contacts out of a group message and still continue on with a group chat rather than rebuilding the new group would be a very useful feature.

  16. Seamless Communication with Apple

    Recently joined a beta, won't disclose the company for whom the beta was for, but the product was a chat app with the feature to be able to associate your Apple account. Doing so allows android users to communicate with iOS users via iMessage. verified that the end user(apple user) receives the message via associated Apple ID.

    Been using Textra for several years and paid for the app to support. I'd much rather use that feature on here and the more Textra users find out about said application I am referring to they will probably feel the same.

  20. Nuisance Control Group Messaging

    Set new group messages to silent in the same way unknown numbers can be set to silent. This way we can change notification sounds so our phone isn't being blown up randomly.
