Newest texts at bottom
It would be great to have a setting that would put the newest texts at the bottom of the page. This way you can reach the newest messages with your thumb.

Left-handed feature
I'd love to be able to swap what side the new text button and settings menu is on. As a lefty with small hands, I always need to use both hands.

I recently updated my phone and now Textra is not showing the sender name on my locked screen when it notifies me of a new message.
Please advise if there is an update, glitch or what I need to do to fix this. I didn't change anything- it appears Samsungs update messed with Textra.

Compress conversation list view

Google Photos Integration
Would it be possible to integrate Google Photos instead of using local photos when trying to attach them to a text message? I do not use local photo storage so it would be skipping the extra step of having to manually submit it.

High Resolution App Icon
Mark this at the bottom of the priority list, but just an idea. It looks like the app's icon is for a 1080p screen, and appears slightly fuzzier than other icons on my phone's 1440p screen. I could be wrong, but that's just my observation. Maybe the icon isn't a vector or just doesn't have higher resolution options or something?

Option to remove contact icons
We would like an option to disable or remove the contact photo icon or the contact icon in the messages thread list.

Configure Emoji Per Contact
It would be ideal to be able to see emoji on a per contact basis. Some of my contacts use iOS, some use Android Oreo, and some use older builds of Android (Blob). I'd like to be able to see the actual Emoji they will be receiving depending on which contact I'm sending to so that I don't have to dig into the settings menu to change the Emoji theme every time I want to see what an iOS user will see.
This would need to be a setting I define because there's no way to know what the contacts…

Security for web previews
I would like to add to the previous security for web previews. I just received a text from an unknown number with just a link. my name and number were clearly in the query string. if I had of opened it with web preview on then my name and number would surely been confirmed. Of course they could have just included a unique I'd and this could have been used to track me. so as the other person said. it's a bit of a security risk, but also a privacy risk. I'm a pro user if that makes a difference!

Delay "confirm" setting
Can you give users the choice of if they want to have the "confirm" option? I don't want it because I know I will abuse it by just double tapping send and it will go through. Completely defeats the purpose of delay for me.
All I'm asking for is the "confirm" to be a setting users can toggle on and off.

Emoji Not Bubbles
Placing Emoji Outside of Text Bubbles just like all other text apps. Even Plain "No Frills" Text apps allow it.

Color change for 1 person
Rather than every time you change the color of One Person's Theme color having to change the one on your home Screen, Let the App theme Widget Color Stay the same. Changing it just because you changed it for ONE Person is Ridiculous.

MMS file limit commission per contact
my carrier does not have a file size limit for pictures and other mms messages, but a select few of my contacts do. I would like to keep my global setting on "unlimited " but change the select contact to have a limit

Show character count
When sending to iPhone users, texts are split and often sent out of order. Would be nice to see the character count so we can be avoid sending texts that are too long and split up.

A Bit of a UI Change
I hope you'd do a bit of a UI change on the message composition box. Kinda like the ones on iPhone's messaging app or on Facebook's messenger app.
Also, I hope you'd port a Nougat-like quick reply function for phones running below Android 7. 🙏🙏🙏

No sound notification
Amazon Alexa interfers with sound notification from Textra. Turning Alexa off allows notifications again but then of course you don't get Alexas reminders, etc.
