    Auto reply kind of like a do not disturb button instead of at night certain times u can set up a auto reply to all contacts if they send u something during that time frame u don't want to be disturb

  5. Compatible with a PC!

    We have all forgot our phones at home or something and need to text a friend. What if Textra made a website where we could log in with our email (and a password of our choosing) and we could send texts from the computer. That would be amazing!!

  6. Mark as Read in Notification

    In Google Messenger, there are two notification options to an incoming text message: "reply" and "mark as read". If you click "mark as read", the message will look like a read text when you go to open the app.

    In Textra, the only option is "reply." I think it would be helpful to add the "mark as read" option as well.

  7. Mark as important

    Instead of archiving or marking unread, why not an option to have texts marked as important.
    When a person clean out their inbox, everything erases but the one(s) that are highlighted or has a star.

  9. Delete Older Text Messages Feature?

    it would be great if there was a way to delete text messages older then 6 months? or 3 months? Something.like that. it would help keep data storage down. Thanks!

    Hi there should be a way to opt out of a group message. when someone adds me to a group message, I don't want to see everyone's response all the time.

    It would be create if WhatsApp messages could be integrated into the app. This gives users a central store for messages communications. Also with the option to differentiate between the two messages.

  12. Please change backspacing

    The current keyboard backspacing is absolutely backwards from what the standard should be.

    If I am tap typing and need to backspace, the backspace will delete the entire word. In this situation it should only delete letters one at a time.

    If I swipe text, and want to use backspace, it will delete each letter one by one. This should not happen when using swipe, as it should delete the entire word instead.

    PLEASE give us the option to change this, or at least change it by default.

  13. chat save to txt file

    Could it become possible to save text messages and conversation history to a txt file (or similar across platform format) so messages (text, audio, pictures, web links) can be saved as well as accessed from a computer and can be searched for within the document.

  18. Note to Self

    Write a short note to yourself to remind you who to text (or not) and why. Oftentimes I wish I could remind myself something important before I text someone. "Keep it simple," "don't double-text," "talk about the project," etc. Optional for the user, pinned at the top of the app or is at the top of the chat screen too... maybe I'm the only one who needs this

  19. Picture/icon for conversations

    It would be nice if we could add our own images as icons for individual group chats that have lots of people in them. Instead of only having the color of the group chat and the number of recipients, we should be allowed to add custom icons to quickly distinguish between several group chats and conversations.
