Move immediate send button when using delay
The delay feature is great and I have come very used to hitting send and immediately canceling my message to fix typos. With the new update I keep hitting the send button and then hitting immediately send instead of cancel. It is more likely that someone will want a delay if they have that setting on so my idea is to switch the send now and cancel buttons.
You would hit send and then the send turns into the cancel button (like before) while the send button shifts up.3 votes -

long Press to Sim change
there should be long press on sim change icon to Sim change or have different solution because accidentally I press change icon and then send messages from wrong sim. i have done this many times.

Research your users
Maybe don't hit a loyal user with ads and hit them up for money. Might not be a bad idea to cut the bullshit with the dating app ads. The first piece of shit ad was for Zoosk. I'm 38, and I'm married. You're being deleted. That was a shit ass move Textra.

Android Wear Notifications
The way Google Messenger does notifications is much better for the Wear platform, especially for group messages. it shows which person in the group sent the latest mess and also shows the contents of the mess without having to click on the notice

Better "recently used" emojis
The recently used section for emojis is unsatisfying. The first 3 rows are in fact recently used, the following 9 are not recently used (at least not by me). It would be nice if the entire recently used emojis were truly recently used emojis to save looking through all of them.

Transitioning Message from Quick Reply
I've found myself repeatedly frustrated by typing in the quick reply in the notification bar, and then accidentally hitting the notification itself, which opens the app. The problem with that is my unfinished message doesn't carry over to the app- could that be fixed?

Lock screen notification different from unlocked screen
When the screen is locked, have separate settings that allow you to mask the contact or text content, and see the info by pulling down on the notification. This way we can leave our phones out, and not have to worry about annoying friends and family and their prying eyes.

Counter messages by contact
Would be great to show somewhere the number of messages for each contact, in order to delete some when one have hundreds (or thousands) of messages for only one contact
