Expand Notification
I am on Android O and right now the quick compose is collapsed automatically. if its possible it would be amazing if the notification could be automatically expanded.

Textra-only favourite contacts for quick k compose
As of now, quick compose shows your android defined favourite contacts. This is ok, but for those of us who use Do Not Disturb mode, we don't want to add addition contacts to the system favourites so we are interrupted when we wish to not be.
A textra-specific list is a good solution in my opinion.

Swap send delay options
I loved using send delays to cancel messages that I may have written too fast without proofreading, but now the send option is where the cancel option used to be. Because my reflex is to double tap the same place after I send to cancel sending I've sent many erroneous messages and I think the feature has almost lost its use because of the ui change. I could get used to it, but it makes more sense to me to have the cancel in the original location.

Essential PH-1 support
I have the new Essential Phone and I run into a couple of issues using Textra. Any touch input acts as if it's higher than it was (I have to press an entry lower than what I want).

Placement of sms cancelation button
When sending a delayed message, could you please change the pacement of cancel button. rather than putting it on top you should gave it at the bottom and confirm sms send button on top. when a person sends a message mistakenly it is a natural reflex to press the send button again to cancel it haphazardly. also it wil be more in line with what you had before i.e. the send button used to turn into cancel button. so?

Check and Double check for sent and delivered
Would be nice to have the sent and delivered notification as just the checks instead of the words and time stamp

move cancel button
The cancel button is right above the send button. Not good. More often than not, send gets pressed instead of cancel.

Only notify with sound first time
It would be nice to have a setting that would only make a notification sound once until you've checked the texts...either globally or per contact. It's annoying to get tons of dings with every new message when I'm purposefully ignoring my phone.

when in messages app have it pop up like in default samsung app
When in the app have texta pop up with a normal notification like it normally does. sometimes i miss messages. love the app, using it due to the samsung defult one being slow after like wk txts or so
