  4. Integrate encrypted instant messaging using Signal protocol

    Similar to the iMessage system. Allow for encrypted instant messages that fail over to SMS when recipient(s) doesn't use the protocol or data/Wifi is unavailable

  6. Nicknames

    It would be cool if a contact has a nickname saved in their contact book (address book) that the nickname gets used instead if the first and last name.

  13. New send delay skip feature tweak

    While I like the idea of being able to skip the send delay, I think it was a mistake to place the skip button in the same spot as the send button. An accidental double-tap due to jittery fingers or phone movement sends a message immediately, negating the purpose of send delay.

    Textra supports the S8 edge lighting but not on the S7. It would be really nice to be able to use my favorite feature on my phone with this app.

  17. Make Send Delay Override Feature an Option You Can Toggle Off

    I get the concept behind the send delay override feature that was just introduced, but the buttons are HUGE and right where my fingers are when I've just pushed send, so it's easy to accidentally override the delay and immediately send texts. I just texted my boyfriend Dave the word "Edgar" instead of "What" thanks to this. I'd like to opt out of the delay override feature, plz!

  20. Textra is still lagging w MMS sent msgs!!!!

    ugh, Textra said this was a Samsung problem. however Samsung pushed out the update on Aug 3 & my MMS still won't go through
