  2. lightly shaded colored bubbles

    is it possible to have a lightly shaded bubble? or maybe the outline in bubble color and text area a light grey shade or off white? sometimes emojis and symbols don't show up in the solid colored bubbles.

    How do I activate? "Help" says it's completed. How do I add my system photo so it shows at the recipient's message side?

  4. Create calendar events from text messages

    Would it be possible to create a feature that will allow you to take a text message and create a calendar event or appointment from it?

    I do service work for a living and quite often my customers will send me a text message requesting assistance with their products. the ability to create an appointment from a text message would be very handy.

  6. Message bubbles

    pls make a simple one. black borders and white back ground. the current version only has gray fill and black borders. the white color of bubble does not have borders. it will be very simple and sexy if you implement this choice.

  7. Notification on ONLY INITIAL text

    I have some friends who send 10 texts serially (within 20 seconds) instead of just consolidating them all into one text. this makes my phone ring like crazy, which disrupts work flow. could you make an option to just ring ONCE for a new notification, so that the phone doesn't ring 10 times? and once the messages are viewed, it would reset and again ring on the next new text from that person?

  8. Option for stock notification style

    I find that on my OnePlus 3, even with pocket mode enabled, Textra's customized notifications will occasionally get opened while it's in my pocket. Plus, I find that the custom pop-ups rarely show enough of the message to be useful. I'd much rather have the option to use notifications in the standard Android style when they peek or pop up on the screen.

  9. Overscroll to match contact color

    When viewing a particular message thread, I'd like Textra to automatically match the overscroll glow color with the contact's color, rather than the universal theme color. Just a little quality of life tweak that would make it feel a bit more polished.

  13. Improving scheduled sms messages.

    When scheduling a message for later delivery, please let the app give an error when the time of the delivery is in the past and not just send the message. Thanks.

    Is it possible to see if the person you are texting is typing a reply? For example Facebook Messenger has the ... to let you know the other person is typing.

    Using your troubleshooting instructions I found that the Fluenty app was blocking Textra sound notifications (it did not block the vibration notifications).

  17. Better search feature

    Instead of having to tap on the search button and then tap on search bar once it opens I would like to see a steady search bar on top ala iMessage search bar. There is no real reason why I should have to tap the search bar twice just to get into a search and this simple change would make the search feature a lot nicer and simpler
