  4. Please don't use shady tricks to get me to click the ad

    It really winds me up when sites or apps use shady UI tactics to get me to click their adverts - like rapidly sliding the ad into view in place of the top (most likely to be clicked) SMS just before I click it. It's happened 3 or 4 times already with Textra for ads I don't care about. I'm sure your Adventists wouldn't be happy knowing most of their click throughs were fake, or at least essentially useless.

  8. Message Delete UX

    Due to the dark background and its use of the secondary color, the toast message looks like a button instead of a prompt to press the trash icon once more.

    I found myself clicking the toast expecting a deletion.

    It would be great if the toast message looked a little less like a button and more of a toast style message.

  9. Bring back group avatar photos

    It was insanely useful to have group message avatars in the main screen, just like single recipient messages. Now they just have a color and the number of recipients. I liked the previous way better. Perhaps make it user selectable?

  10. Single Contact Picture for Simultaneous Messages from Same Contact

    So for example, if my friend messages me 4 separate text messages, as it currently is, I get 4 separate text messages and each message has the contact picture of my friend to the left. Example:

    [picture of contact] [Hi]
    [picture of contact] [How are you?]
    [picture of contact] [Stop ignoring me]
    [picture of contact] [C'mon!]

    My suggestion would be to have only 1 contact picture for this entire group of texts sent simultaneously by the same contact. Example:

    [picture of contact] [C'mon!]

  17. notification sound from other conversations

    I like the option of disabling the sound from the conversation I'm currently in, but could you add an option to disable sounds from all conversations no matter which conversation is currently being viewed or when the app is open?

  20. Reply Reminder: Small dot

    I was thinking it would cool if there was a small dot that reminded you that you needed to reply. For example if you looked at a message, but couldn't reply at the time, then this would tell you that the other party is still waiting on you to say something. I think this would be great because I for one sometimes forget to respond after looking at it. Also this should be customizable to a per contact basis, so that it is not set for everyone. For example for billing reminders, or automated messages, this would not be very…
