skinny bubbles
don't have it in so bubble slides over one side keep them full width. put the send and receive time and date stamp underneath the bubbles that would space the bubbles apart.. you wouldn't have to screw around looking for the date then or the time. look at messaging by Google and it's a wider bubble and it can be resized right on the screen instead of going into the settings. this would be a great feature.
I love textra though it's a lot more configurable push it a little further!

Can we help get RCS onto Textra?
I know that Google is the one restricting RCS to only their messaging app but it's HORRIBLE! I've been using it for a month and still don't care for it.

When someone in a groupchat replies to a specific message, you get a text along with their text that says "Replied to message:" but have no idea which message they are replying to. It'd be nice to have the message text included or have some kind of arrow pointing to which message they responded to

Send Using Enter
Rn you can turn it on and off, this is great. I like it off when on my soft keyboard. There should be an option to turn it on only for a hardware keyboard and/or send with shift+enter from hard KB.
With it off, I cant send a message from my hard keyboard using enter. It doesnt work with shift enter either. Message Sorting /Message Archive
Either create a means to archive messages from specific numbers you want to keep but not keep in your main feed (such as stores and memberships you signed up for/appointment reminders/ receipts /ads)
or
- create Folders to sort them so that you can keep a shorter main list of all your most important conversations right up front.

Don't hold down microphone button to send voice messages.
Holding down the small button to send a voice message is finicky and tedious. Whatsapp, Signal, and Google Messages all allow you to just swipe up & record without having to hold the button
