  2. Colored texts

    Right now we only have the option for ... black, dark gray, light gray and white. I would live to be able contrast perfectly between my received and sent messages. For example my received would be orange bubble with black text and my outgoing bubble would be black bubble with orange text.

  4. Reacting to images and them some

    Reacting to images like we can do with test messages. Also WhatsApp in my opinion has it the best in reacting to text and images, because when you tap on any text or image it has the plus sign at the end so you're not limited on what emoji to use. With WhatsApp you can use any reaction /emoji.

    (I'm loving your app it's got all the features I couldn't find anywhere else. thanks for your amazing hard work!) Like to have customizable time period between repeating a message notification. Often I've left the room for more than two minutes, eg. for a shower or nap and I don't want it to remind me just yet or to be wasting my battery, till I can get to the phone.   12. Expand Emoji Reactions?

    First, THANK YOU for adding emoji reactions. Love it!

    On to the feedback - does Textra have plans to expand on the newly-added (June 2022) function which allows us to react to other people's messages with emojis? Currently there's only 3 or 4 options - thumbs up, down, heart, etc... Would be great if this little menu was scrollable, tied to your most-used emojis, or contained a 3-dot button which opened up the entire emoji menu.

    The phone will change colours to match the background image. I use Google's auto background image app. It would be nice if the app also has this feature.

  19. "Show in conversation" feature for media

    Hello,

    It often happens when looking in medias of a conversation, to be curious to see when this media was sent, and what was the conversation about it.

    Selecting the media to have an option "show in conversation" (like in telegram) would be amazing!

  20. Lock conversations

    add a pin or biometric lock to individual conversations that may be sensitive. if necessary include a setup message that this only deters access and doesn't prevent someone from accessing the messages through a different SMS app.
