  1. make bubbles smoother when timestamp is on

    When you have the setting for the timestamps on the chat bubbles there's an animation problem. You click send the bubble goes in the whole thing is smooth but then the bottom of the bubble just pops lower to accommodate for the timestamp that appears suddenly. If that could be a smoother animation or just already built in

  3. Emoji reactions to text messages

    Google text app allows the user to pick from the entire emoji catalog to react to a text message, that would be REALLY amazing if Textra could implement the same feature. Textra would then be 100% perfect!

  4. changes for phones with multiple sims

    1. move the Sim button away from send button.

    2. I have 2 numbers on my phone. One for personal one for business. All texts for both numbers are in one list. Please give the option to sort or separate texts by Sim number.

    I live in Australia where most carriers have a 500kb mms size limit, is it possible to make a custom selection from the list items so users can set whatever size limit they wish?

    We need an option to backup the messages database. to be exported to a new device for example.
    I have almost 30k msg and google never bring them all when I factory reset my phone

  11. multiple sims

    i have 2 sim cards on my phone and given that the button to select the SIM and the send button are next to each other, i occasionally by accident change the SIM card before i send the text, resulting in roaming charges. Can you redesign that, eg, long pressing the send button would give the option to choose a SIM card.

  12. Remove all "Unblocklist" Contacts all at the same time

    Fir contacts on your blocklist, allow the option to "select all" or " checkbox multiple contacts" when removing them from blocklist.

    Currently, they all have to be done one a t a time which is very tedious

  14. Option to Edit after sending

    I don't know if this is not an option with SMS like it is with online based messaging, but we're constantly wishing we could edit messages after we send them. (fixing typos, deleting things, etc.) We use WhatsApp and it has that feature but would LOVE for Textra to have it

  15. "Improved media selection" is not an improvement

    The new media selection feature is more annoying than convenient. I liked being able to quickly add 1 image with 1 tap of the thumbnail.

    The new feature is nice for adding several at once, but the checkbox (circle) is too small and annoying to hit right. Additionally, in the vast majority of cases, I'm only trying to send 1 photo at a time anyway.

    I suggest defaulting to the old behavior with a setting and/or a live switch to enable multi-add. Maybe tap to select and hold to expand a thumbnail.
