  1. highlighting to select specific text

    whenever I try to select a certain word to copy it just checkmarks the whole box. if the text has a link in it and I'm trying to copy something else like the promo code in the message it will automatically click the link instead

    I'd love a pastel colour range for when I'm customising the look of the app. or possibly a full RGB colour wheel so we can derive our own colour combos

    wish it was a setting where i could go to a message box and set a custom back ground from my gallery so i could see it behind my chat box w that person ...and i coyld set it differently from each person i text ...

    L'idée serai que quand on reçoit un message) et qu'il apparais en haut de l'écran on est juste à faire un toucher glisser pour qu'il apparaisse: le contenue du message envoyé,
    en dessous: le contenu du notre
    Et le clavier.

    Please add support for advanced messages. If the person I'm texting has them turned on Textra does not receive the messages and instead they just go to the default messaging app.

    Textra is fantastic. However, Textra doesn't work with dragon. If I need dragon, I have to switch back to stock app. Please fix this. Pretty Please

  10. Automatically enable data for messages

    Automatically enable data for messages and then disable data. This would perfect Textra because it is annoying to always have to enable data to recieve messages. Also could you allow messages to be sent over WiFi

  11. Additional text date stamping options

    If you're like me, you often lose track of what day it is and have to frequently check your calendar to know the date. Of course each text states the date and time it was sent, but Facebook Messenger also adds in the extra bit of text telling you if the message was sent "Today" or "Yesterday". It's trivial but reduces the need for me to double check my calendar to make sure I've got the right date.

  12. Add a Resend Button

    If a message is talking a long time to send, it would be awesome if there were a button that would let you either cancel the sending or simply retry sending the message.

  18. ad placeholder

    I don't mind the ads in the free version (I sincerely hope they help the company stay afloat) but could you please put a placeholder there for that brief moment before the ad loads and pushes down the list of conversations, so I don't tap the ad instead of the first conversation in the list? this makes sense because those ad clicks are purely unintentional and don't represent any potential referral revenue but they are irritating to the user. I think you'll agree that, ideally, the ad clicks that are from legitimate interest are potentially valuable and you don't jeopardise…
