  1. Pinch to Adjust Text Size

    First of all, I would like to appreciate the efforts of the developers because the application is amazing.
    Secondly, it would be really nice if pinch to adjust the text size was provided as a feature.

  2. Going Backwards

    After pressing back arrow to get to thread listing (home), sometimes subsequent presses don't exit the app immediately but instead threads seem to reorder on the home screen. May take several presses before exiting.

  3. Play media straight from preview window in messages!

    Sometimes I'd much rather play a video I either sent or received straight in the preview window. Instead of opening a new window, pressing the play button would just play the video right there in the chat, while pressing outside of the play button would open the separate window just like before.

  6. streamlining idea favorite list

    hi, when creating a new text, the favorite list that appears shows all the favorite's phone numbers and not just their mobile. I'm guessing most contacts have only one main phone for text messaging so maybe remove numbers not labeled as a "mobile" number?

    je ne comprends pas pourquoi, je reçois les notifications comme quoi je reçois les mms mais textra me dit qu'il est impossible de les recevoir et donc je ne les ai pas.
    J'ai téléchargé textra en seconde application sms que j'ai passé en première par défaut.
    si vous pouvez corriger ce bug merci

  8. Cloud URL Link Integration

    Integration with cloud services so I can choose a file from my Google Drive, Google Photos, or whatever and have it instantly share my file as a URL instead of an attachment.

    When you open the app.....On the top left corner, it says Textra.....You should be able to change it to anything you want....such as Messaging....or Messages

  11. Don't require "draw over other apps" permission

    The "draw over other apps" permission interferes with installing apks from non-Google Play sources. As such I always keep it disabled for all apps. In Textra this prevents the core functionality of easily attaching images to a text.

  12. Increase bubble horizontal size

    Hi. Maybe you guys can increase the horizontal size of message bubbles so more characters would fit before the next line? As it is, my messages look mostly vertical, with lots of space to the left or right of each bubble wasted. Thanks.

    With Android nougat versions 7.1.1 there's option to add shortcuts on icons. Please work on that to enable quick access to frequent contact

    Create your own backgrounds or themes.
    Customize your messger look in whatever way you want it to be. Fonts, color scheme, images, and more. Also in a way that can make it a lil different. maybe create a theme so other user can like and download to use.if the creater choose to.

  17. Display Resizing for Sent/Received Pictures

    Put in option to make all pictures appear the same width in the conversation, while maintaining aspect ratio. I don't like it when I send/receive a small picture and it appears so small on my screen I can barely make out what the picture is. If it's too small, then just blow it up (I know this won't keep resolution) to an appropriate size.

  18. I would like to see an option that for group texts, I could choose SMS only so if they only have SMS capabilities, they could receive group.

    Not everyone is set up to receive MMS. So when I send out a text to 2 or more people, I'd like to have an option to send SMS only, so I wouldn't have to send out the same text so many times.
