Preserve custom notification sounds in group messaging
It would be nice if messages in a group text still used the customized notification sounds for people I've set up, and use the default sound for those I haven't.

Message notification and message privacy
Would be nice to be able to set a notification so that it shows who it came from but doesn't show a preview of the message. Currently you get either new message pop up or you get a name and the message too. A little more privacy on that front would be nice.

Option to send a timed to disappear text..
A available option to send a text that is timed to dissappear after a certain amount of time after being opened, such as 3, 6 or 12 hours. OR timed to dissappear within minutes, such as 5 or 10 minutes. In the option you could select a time of minutes or hours!

Handwriting message reply..
A option to send a reply as a handwritten message to a friend! They receive your hand written message verses a regular text.

Delay sms in group
It should have an option 2 add delay in group chat i.e delay after every 5 sms of 5-60 seconds etc etc.

couleur pour chaque conversation
Peut-être une idée comme ça pour améliorer l'apparence des textos. pour chaque conversation il pourrait y avoir des couleurs différentes, la boîte du haut ainsi que les bulles de conversations ourraient être de la même couleur. cette couleur serai assorti de la photo du contact avec qui on discute. allez voir un exemple avec l'application Messenger de Google, vous allez comprendre mon point. pour chaque conversation l'application choisi une couleur assortie de la photo du contact. ces couleurs sont choisi par l'application et non pour moi.

[USEFUL] Missed/outgoing/incoming calls in conversation
Add the call logs (outgoing, missed and incoming calls) in conversations, between two messages.
It would be useful to see when you've called somebody because that would confirm you answered him.
A short red/blue/green text line like "You've called xxx" or "You missed a call from xxx" would be great.1 vote -

Give us some options for the send and receive tones. For that extra customization and personalization. :)

Contact name color
First of all, Textra is AWESOME!! Thank you for such a great app. I love the changes in 3.31. Now that we can color code our contacts, I'd like to be able to change the color of the actual contact name.... when choosing a lighter color like yellow, the bubble text can be dark but not the contact name. Is that a possibility? Thank you!!

FILE TRANSFER OPTION
You have emoji, contacts, photos, but i need the capability to send a file from my phone. also you can put in that a message is read, my android messeges plus on my note 5 does.

Bug..
In the privacy settings i turned OFF "Show Message Text" & "Show Contact" and in the notification it still shows their name on the bottom of the notification because it says "Reply to (name)"

Custom animation duration
Please allow app to override animation duration. I set system animation to be short because it slows down phone, but as a result the animation in Textra is lost because it is short.

Notification Icon's
Add an option/feature to combine notifications on lock screen by color. It would show total number of messages by icon color and show the name of contact with commas in between each name. And show just one icon for each color on the notification drop down
