  1. Can i be able to change the animation of sending the messge?

    The animation that is in use right now is often laggy and i don't like IT. Would be nice if there would be a possibility to change IT.

  3. Love the app but not the new animation.

    Love your app but I'm sorry, I do not like the new animation. Somehow I find it distracting. Would it be possible to have this as an option that could be turned on/off?

  4. Textra companion app for Gear S2

    I hope it is in the works for future Gear S2 (powered by Tizen) support. I have it so that I can accept and respond to notifications, but I would like an app/widget on my Smartwatch that sends a message instead of just a reply.

    Nonetheless, I love your app and can't go back to messages.

  7. Auto correct options

    Be able to delete certain words. Every time I type lol it changes it to LOL . I would like to be able to delete that capital version.

  10. Add a way to backup our texts to Google.

    There is currently an app called "SMS Backup +" which offers this ability. As good as Textra is this would be a good feature to add.

  11. Ability to add a person to a group message

    If a group message has already been sent with let's say 8 people and you want to add a 9th you have to redo the entire group. Would be nice just to go into the previous message sent and select to add more.

  12. Custom notification sound based on text content

    Sometimes receive messages with content from my home alarm. The content changes based in whether it's armed or disarmed. When the message string contains "armed by master code", I'd like to play a custom mp3 to indicate that, as well as disarmed, or any other configurable text string.

  15. Option to customize the keyboard. There's a banner with punctuation chars., and I would rather be able to have the ones I use most.

    We need a way to customize the punctuation banner above the alpha keyboard. I rarely use : or ; for instance. I would love to be able to replace them with ' and - which I use all the time. That would save a lot of flipping back & forth to the numerical page.

  17. Instead of putting the delivery report inside the bubble put it on the outside under the bubblit

    When I send a small message the delivery report extends the length of it and I don't like the way it looks. So to fix this but the delivery report outside and under the bubble. Just like iPhone!

    Those are the main features of a messaging app. Too much costmization and little attention to speed and smoothness make an app become bad.
    Keep your work as it is, only need to polish some corners
