Emojis selection drawer matches emojis type selected.
After the recent update I downloaded and selected the new emoji style. It appears in my messages and while I'm typing but not in the selection drawer. I don't think it was intentional but would be nice.

Change the color each contact

To preview photos taken with the camera before sending
I'm not sure if someone has suggested this yet, but I would like to suggest an option to preview a photo before sending it. I noticed that if I take the photo through textra to send, I can't view it before I send it. It's kind of a hassle to leave the app to use the phone's camera and then attaching it to the text just because I want to make sure the photo I sent was clear or what I wanted.

Draft messages at top and saved.
When you make a draft message but don't send it that textra would 1. save it and 2. Place it in the top of the messages. This helps when you don't want to reply right away or if you need to reply later and need to remember to send at a more convenient time.

Ability to stop textra overwriting icon pack icon
Textra icon now overwrites my icon pack icon. Option to. Disable textra from setting icon.

Move thread to group or folder
Such a useful functionality still not available.
User must have an option to move some threads to folder or group.
For example : I move Dean, Bean and John's thread to folder and Lable it as "Friends"

Automatically Group Messages based on Sender Name (Snapdeal or Amazon)
There must be an option to group the messages from similar sender sending messages from different name.
For example we receiv a lot of messages from Amazon Snapdeal but their name vary most of the time
Like - AM-SNAPDL, TD-SNAPDL
They create new thread every time.Grouping should baseed on text-matching.
For example if I set text 'Snapdl' to move in some particular group then all the messages containg 'Snapdl' in sender name must moved to that particular group.
This is a have functionality, wehere we can make our inbox looks cleaner and organized, as we see in Gmail.

Unread message count!!!
Simple feature. Please just make it work correctly. I don't see this feature at all with my S6. I want the app icon on home screen to show unread messages, similar to iPhone.

Folders
Have ability to create folders for people/texts to be able to separate work texts from personal texts. Almost like having 2 inboxes. One for work with designated people, one for personal etc. Thanks, great app!

Haptic feedback on long press
Textra used to have this feature when you long press on a conversation to select it, it has haptic feedback like in the gmail app or any material design app. The haptic feedback is helpful to know that you selected the conversation.

Group Message Improvements
For group conversations, it would be great if you could give the group a name and its own image. Also, allow a shortcut to be made to the group. By this, I mean just like you can put a contact shortcut on the android home screens, a shortcut for a whole group would be awesome. This is a function I had on Go SMS that was quite useful when you part of a group that you need to talk with regularly but don't want to always keep all the messages (for example, a sports team you play on).

Change SMSC number - new option in sms settings
In application in sms settings would like to have possibility to change smsc number insted of default which is hide. In native sms application (samsung s6) there is such possibility.
