    Love Textra. I have tested others and keep coming back.

    I have lots of group texts with the same people in them. My best friend is in at least 6 group texts with me, and my wife is in 8 or more. Sometimes I want to message a certain group but it's hard to find the one I want (if it's not named). My idea to fix this is to allow searching by name (contact name) and not search the body of the text for that name. For example if I know I want to message the group with Phil…

  3. Forwarding to a different device

    Hello.
    It sure would be nice if there was a setting where I could automatically forward my messages to another device (cell phone, tablet). Can Textra add this capability? This would be similar to what is available with the iPhone messaging app.

  4. Limit # of notifications per time period

    If someone texts me 10 times in 30 seconds, I don't need 10 separate notifications. I would love the option to limit that

  5. Custom MMS Size Limit

    Currently the MMS Size Limit is selectable from a pre-populated list. It would be helpful for this to have a custom value option, because (for example) a Mint Mobile plan allows up to 5MB attachments, vs the Textra highest value of 2MB

    Instead of holding the voice message option and releasing when finished, the option should exist to tap the button, record your message, then tap again.

  10. Text in progress indicator

    Some texting apps, Signal for example, show 3 dots when the other person is typing. It would be helpful to know if there is a reply coming.

  11. pin Keep to the actual top and change color options.

    I know this may seem a little pedantic but when I pin Keep to the top of the conversation list it doesn't stay at the top of the conversation list if I pin anybody else with a name that starts with A through J.

    I'd like it to be at the very top, always. Not In a different location based on the names of others that I have pinned to the top.
    I would also prefer to be able to make it a different color in general message list.

  12. Play notification sound during call

    I swear Textra used to have this feature. I receive text notifications for emergency purposes. If I'm on a call it will just beep/ vibrate during a call. I would like textra to play the notification sound I have configured so I know there's something that needs my attention immediately.

  13. Label for unreplied texts please

    so we get a label for unread texts in our inbox, can we please get a label for unreplied texts too?

    I sometimes read a message but forget to reply, thus having a label like the unread label would save me so much.

    please include tool to remove duplicate SMS messages that include media. it's a reality when backing up and restoring phones using various tools that don't prompt as such before completing. please contact me directly for any beta release testing.

  17. Change Conversation Name

    Currently the conversations are named based on the phone number. I would like to have the ability to add something to the phone number or completely change the naming of the conversation to something that is more descriptive of who I am talking to.

  18. fix the issue where for no reason years of messages from one contact is just gone. I want them back

    messages just gone from one contact overnight. Went to sleep, messages and media were there, woke up the next day, they were gone. YEARS of text messages and media. Resynching or uninstalling/reinstalling didn't work. What happpened? Please restore

    A space bar or button would be really handy on emoji pages. Sometimes I want to put spaces between emojis and have to go back to the regular keyboard to do it.
