Exclude contact names from search
Search should ONLY look in the message body. If searching for a message sent, using a name, I don't need contacts with the same name at the top of search results. Sometimes it will show 40-80 messages at the top, that are all from the same contact. If I wanted to search for someone in my contacts, I would just create a new text to them.

blocklist bug
not really an idea, more of a bug. I have 2 conversations I've blocklisted, a long time ago, that I can't delete. even with the new feature just released (delete from blocklist screen). I can't unblocklist, either... they stay in the blocklist screen. no number or name associated with them. not a showstopper, but annoying. thx

Blocklist: accidental delete
View and Delete being right next to each other in the Blocklisted settings screen will cause accidental deletions - can they be moved apart?

Backup option for messages, calls, blacklists.
Very tedious to have to transfer to a new phone.. I love this app but considering using something else with backups. I do change phones often enough for this to be an issue.

Filter or group nuisance texts
Filter or group nuisance texts - I get a lot of spam and it clutters my inbox. I'd like to filter out texts to see texts from my contacts only, is that possible?

Traveling international
My groups are messed up because Textra is confused about phone numbers while I'm overseas. It matches one of my daughters but not the other and it can't even tell I'm the other person in the group.

Hide Conversations
The ability to hide, or lock as private, conversations with specific contacts in the list.
For example, my 10 year old son uses my phone when he is with me to text his mom and cousins, and I don't necessarily want him to be able to read some of the other conversations between me and my buddies or my gf.

Good morning The application does not show the entire contact list. To select the person I want to send a message to, I must first use the contacts application. However, when I want to forward a message to other friends: forward (share), I can only send it to those shown by the textra application and this is 1/5 of all. Perhaps it only shows contacts from the sim card. I don't know. This doesn't work properly at all. Another problem is communicating about unread messages and these unread messages cannot be seen. Blocklist messages
if someone is blacklisted, you won't get notifications but would you still be able to see a message if they sent one by going to settings and viewing chat?

I'm uninstalling Textra because of your absurd blocklisting. So I don't want to see messages from someone, but if I look at the blocklist list, I can't even delete messages from that list? My ONLY 2 choices are to View Convo or Un-blocklist? Bye.

Effacer messages.

Lorsqu'on déplace un message vers la corbeille, ne serait-il pas possible de le conserver pendant une certaine période (voire 30 jours par exemple) avant qu'il ne soit définitivement effacé. Un changement d'avis est toujours possible. Merci.4 votes
