  1. Less obtrusive quick reply with pull down instead of large window.

    Floating notification appears upon message. Simply pull down on that to open quick reply and keyboard like on iOS or Floatify as opposed to a large obtrusive window. Swipe it away to dismiss it. Leaves screen in the middle open still.

  2. Hide keyboard after starting contacts search from the "To" field without loosing focus.

    Need to be able to collapse the keyboard while still leaving the list of contacts on screen, as positioned, to continue scrolling through with a broader view. As is, collapsing the keyboard also closes the list of contacts. Frustrating behavior from an otherwise great app! Keep up the good work!

  5. Include a privacy option

    It would be great to have a privacy option that would allow users to hide messages between yourself and certain contacts but not affecting all other contacts.

    Still being able to get a small "private" notification but needing a pin to access the message

  8. I want to merge conversations

    The thing is that I have a sms conversation that I used for a while. But when I got outside the country roaming it made another conversation. I think this has to do with that mms wore sent in the first one. I know other sms apps that does this beautifully but for some reason this one doesn't...

  13. Have the option to scan conversations and delete duplicate messages

    To have the option to scan all or a certain conversation for any duplicate messages. Not just any duplicate message itself. But a duplicate message with the same timestamp also.

  14. More customizable features to a specific contact

    To have more settings to customize a specific contact. Handcent has lots of different customizable settings for any given contact from fonts color, size, style. Bubble style, color, transparency, custom background. Like all different features on handcent. But I like textra better and would love it if it had more features to customize.

  17. Prevent Loss of Personal Dictionary Words Every Time Software is Updated

    Great product BUT, every single time you "update" the software - which seems like every two weeks lately, my entire dictionary disappears and I have to enter words like "fucking bullshit" all over again.
    Please fix this!

  20. delivery report notification

    I have a htc phone. Which has a sensed base rom. I ditched the stock sms app cause whenever a msg delivered to recipient, its shows a pop up notification that I need to press disable/or somewhat irritating. But, textra only show it in the msg body,no notification. Will appreciate if you guys add the option to show sms delivery report notification (silent) on the notification tray.
