  1. When sharing from other app to Textra, display contacts from recent conversations, and not our contact favorites

    Just like when you share to WhatsApp, or Facebook Messenger, or any other SMS app, it displays your most recent contacts/conversations to share to. Textra displays our contact list favorites, and it's annoying because you have to search for your contact each time. If I'm texting someone and I say oh wait let me send you a link, and share to textra, their name should be at the top of the list!

  2. Convert list texts into checklists that can be crossed off

    I get lots of texts with various lists (shopping lists, to do lists, work related texts, etc.). I usually screen shot, and open in photo editor, and cross off the list as I go, but it'd be awesome to have an option to convert a message to a "Checkable" list to cross off things that are complete. Maybe it could be an option via long-press?

  3. has a button to restore deleted messages

    If you accidentally delete a message or all all the messages you can press the restore the deleted messages

  4. Now that we have the heads up notification, can you make that until I pull down quick reply instead of tapping going into the app

    I love the new heads up notification but now can you guys make that into the quick reply . a more sleek modern reply. Instead of tapping it and it goes to the bulky and bigger taking up more space on my screen from what I'm doing .

  7. Ability to send pictures in groups and not one at a time.

    On many other apps and the default android app, when you select multiple pictures, the pictures are sent together and the app will say "you have received X amount of pictures" when you send them with textra, the images send one at a time and you'll get a notification for each picture which is very irritating. Rather than getting one notification for a group of 10 pictures.

  10. Disable keyboard pop-up when scrolling

    There are a thousand topics asking for the same thing, and I have used all my votes voting for them, so I thought I'd make my own as well.

    This option is infuriating! It saves exactly zero screen taps, and often pops up when I don't want it too. I don't understand who would ever want it, but I can see all the people that don't. If it must stay, please add an option to disable it.

    The textra notifications on my smart watch is generic without giving message details, my stock app does but I wanted to use textra app. Can you update textra to function correctly with this smart watch?

  16. For when Project Fi support?

    I love this app so much that I even have the pro version. But unfortunately I can't use on Project Fi. It doesn't support MMS and some SMS don't go through. Would be really good if you guy fixed this.

  18. Option to add "Fwd" when forwarding a message

    When forwarding a message, id like the option to have textra automatically add "fwd" at the front so people realize its a forwarded message and i dont have to explain it. Other messaging apps have this option and its very useful and saves time

  19. Adding a docking station at the top of the screen to add contacts you text often.

    Adding a docking station at the top of the screen to add contacts would be an awesome functionality for this app. It's so annoying to have to either search your messages for a contact you want to message or create a new message and type in their phone number to start a new message. This feature would save people tons of time with starting new messages and is just utterly convenient.
