  4. Enable Emergency Alerts

    With the stock messaging app, we are able to receive AMBER alerts and emergency messages, this shouldn't change between the different apps. It's been suggested many times and I'm wondering if it can be finally added.

  5. Uploading and restoring settings.

    Any possibility of adding a setting for uploading and restoring settings? This would be ideal for situations where it is necessary to uninstall and reinstall textra or when changing devices.

  6. New messages at bottom of list

    Post new messages at bottom of list instead of at top as most people hold phones at the bottom of the phone. This enables you to easily select conversations with one hand for most recent conversations. Or at least make it a settings option plz! When you open textra it will automatically bring you to NEW Messages at Bottom of list. This would be very handy, Pun is intended !

  10. Save photos or videos from sms to phones photo gallery

    I will get photos or videos from family or friends via sms text message and would live to save them to my androids photo gallery. I can do that with the stock Samsung message app. Be nice to have that on Textra app.

  12. Same Two Delete Keys as on Computer

    On my computer I have a delete backspace and a delete forward key. I really miss the delete forward key and would love to see it on my text screen.

  13. SMS vs MMS

    In my opinion, MMS should not be used unless there is audio and/or video content. Sending to a group is not in and of itself justification to use MMS in place of SMS. My old "dumb" cell phone behaved as I want my Android phone to work in this regard.

  15. Customise default color of avatars that have no thumbnail

    Currently, avatars that don't have custom thumbnails use the same color as the system bars, i.e. blue. I would like to choose a different color for those circle avatars to distinguish it from the system bar colors.

    We should be able to add favorite to textra only, I don't want all my favorite contact to show up, I will like to be able to select the favorite just for message.
