  1. Call option on swipe

    Option to swipe message right for call contact and left for delete message. And vis versa. Right now it's left for call contact and right for delete message. Would like a option to choose.

  3. Support Twitter emojis

    Add the choice to display emojis in the Twitter style alongside Google and Apple styles. The Twitter style had the flat design aspect we all love without the abstraction of the Google style.

  4. Include color grabber to have color scheme match match phone background

    To increase the fluidity of theming, the app should include either a color grabber to match an exact value of a color on the phone background. In addition (or instead of) the app could include the option to include input for an exact hexadecimal color value

  5. Show GIFs in texts like they do on iPhones and not as a link.

    iPhones automatically show the GIFs in the texts instead of a link that needs to be clicked on. When an iPhone user sends me a GIF I see it automatically however when I send one it shows up as a link. How can this be fixed?

  10. Can we disable autocorrect?

    I cannot find a Knowledge Base article anywhere. Someone please help if its already posted here. The AutoCorrect features in this app are terribly annoying and super unhelpful.

  11. Change default storage location for all messages

    Textra is noticeably experiencing worse speed and fluidity when there are too many texts in one conversation (too many messages, back and forth). For example, there is a delay between pressing send for a message and the message appearing in the convo for longer conversations. Therefore, if all messages can be stored on the SD card instead of in the limited internal storage, Textra can just "read" the messages and won't be as bogged down, increasing both app speed AND functionality (larger storage = more room to save important conversations).

  15. Textra icon says the number of messages that are unread is 2 regardless of how many I actually have.

  16. When using the dark background and you need to manually position the cursor, have the magnified text and cursor become darker or lighter.

    Right now, everything in the magnified area is just shades of grey so you can't see the cursor and don't know quite where it's being moved. In the white background theme, it's dark and easily seen. I'd really like to see it contrasted appropriately.

  17. No sound when screen on

    I'd like an option to disable notification sound and vibrate when screen is on. LET is fine I guess but no sound/vibrate would be nice.
