Signature
Can't say I think much of the last update that supposedly improves the look of signatures. All that's happened is select has been moved from right to left. Would have been happy just to be able to put all my signatures in alphabetical order. If you can do that already then I apologize but I can't find that option +-:

Need a silent way to give feedback that message was sent. Maybe timestamp inline ala default sms app.tone not for many situations.

There is no quick visual clue. You just added slide left to see timestamp, but I would rather just like to see an option to purchase it inline. Why not? You add the timestamp later anyway inline...just nkt when we send.the message.1 vote -
Customization
I think these 3 ideas I have will further make textra the number 1 sms messenger app. 1. Fonts scan for full customization. 2. Private section for your top contacts and messages. 3. Personalized ring tones and incoming messages.

I now have to turn off wifi to send/receive MMS again. I'm on a Galaxy S6 Edge running Android 5.1.1, the update came in mid-July of 2015 for future reference to this thread.

notification sound
Currently if the message screen is open, there is no notification sound when getting a response. Add the option to allow sound instead of only vibrate. I keep missing messages until its too late because i was not alerted.

Emojis to function in pop up and messages
Emojis cannot be selected anymore, the ➕ becomes an ✖ but no attachment, emojis, scheduled measage can be selected only keyboard appears.

Delete button in notification
There is no delete button for received messages in notification bar. Please implement this. I have seen this working wit other apps, so its not the case that it cannot be implemented.

Make post-send action configurable
Seems like textra closes after I send an SMS (most times, I think...maybe this is dependent on what you're doing, like replying to a text you got to from an alert?).
Can you give us a pick-list of options as to what we'd like textra to do after send? Maybe: "Do Nothing", "Return to Thread List", "Close Textra App"

Custom Conversation Colours
At the moment, you can change the bubble colours of individual chats (great), but you can only have one colour for the app's theme, and the customised bubble colours can clash with the top bar colour.
I'd love the ability to match the theme colour to the bubble colour of individual contacts, which would make the app look a lot nicer. Google's "Messaging" app currently does this, if you want an example.
