  1. Creating folders to separate different groups of people

    I organise a football team and a rugby team.
    I'd like to be able to have separate folders for these conversations to make it easier to find messages.
    Just like folders in email.

  2. Option to notify about any unread messages when phone is started

    Currently, if the phone is turned off when any Textra notifications are still in the notification bar, the notifications will not be shown again when the phone is powered up. This can mean that messages are missed, if the phone restarts.

    I would like to see the option to notify about any unread messages when the phone starts.

  3. customize wallpaper

    The app is actually really good. It would be more fun if we could customize the wallpaper in the messages with colors like we can the chat bubbles & photos. Please consider it.

  8. Display MMS/image thumbnails in notification instead of "You received a picture."

    Every other app does this. It would be nice to view the image in the notification.

  9. Option to silence notifications when receiving too many consecutive messages from a contact

    We all have that friend (or many of them) who like to send their full thoughts broken into several consecutive texts and sometimes they send you four or five at once, resulting in your notification sound going crazy. I've seen a feature in other messaging clients that will silence consecutive notification sounds if they are receiving within a user-set interval (such as 3, 5, or 10 seconds). This would be very useful in Textra!

  10. Change the delay between SMS and remember notification

    OK you can choose how many time you want to have a notification to remember you have missed a message but you can't change the delay between a new notification. So can you improve it ?

  11. Copy past cut

    I know in this app you can copy txt, but it is weird how you have to go to the settings tab to do it. I would prefer to be able to highlight txt you want to cut copy or past and have the options box automatically appear above the highlighted txt. Keep up the good work this app is great

  12. Schedule a text to be sent

    Have you ever thought of giving users the ability to schedule a text to be sent at a later time? For instance, if you needed to say something to someone but didn't want to bother them at that time, you could schedule a text to be sent later

  14. BUG: Typing during Delayed-Send countdown adds character to message

    It felt intuitive to type during the send delay, hoping for a buffer for my next message, however the result is an additional character in the about-to-be-sent message. This would be fine if it took ALL the text typed during the delay, but it appears to only add the one, and not accept the backspace character to clear it, should you try to undo an accidental keypress.

  15. "Hold Send" between 0.1ms-3s to send

    The delayed send feature is wonderful, but I'd much prefer a 'hold send to send' feature with a shorter delay.

    Hide selected chats behind passwords. In normal view display unsecured chats. When password typed, display all chats , even hidden. Make long type to hide any chat and protect by password.
