  2. Make so it not dependent on Google play store for peoples who like to periodically disable googly stuffs.

    Make so it not dependent on Google play store. When Google stuff is disabled Textra force closes. This so sux badly cause I love Textra. But, I cannot deal with googly stuff constantly running. I'm sure other peoples like disable evil googly stuffs too.

  4. saving pictures from within textra app to phone's gallery

    I'd like to be able to save pics taken (and sent to me) from within the Textra app to my phone's gallery. Maybe I'm missing something, but even after selecting the "download" option, I'm only able to view Textra pics by opening the gallery from within the Textra app - they don't appear in my gallery when opening the gallery from my home screen.

    The app is awesome...but is it a way to put emoji simply by writing :) for exemple and don't take it in the list?

  7. Option to show only contact name in conversation list, instead of preview of our conversation

    I would love to have the option to only show contacts name in my conversation list, instead of seeing a preview of our conversation as well.

  10. Make Textra compatible with voicemail.

    If I disable Textra, voicemail works. With Textra running, no voicemails received. Virgin Mobile, Galaxy s2, Android 4.1.2, Textra 2.36. I've tried various settings in voicemail, Textra, and system/phone, and nothing works except freezing/disabling Textra.

    For future update you
    MUST FIX THE GROUP TEXT REPLY.
    New in settings.

    1. Settings
    2. Group Text Options
    3. Reply to Sender Only option.

    4. Reply All option.

    Suggestion for future release.

    Please have a incoming Group Text marked with a distinctive and separate color to stop accidentally sending a private message reply to ALL.

    Rather than have 3 size options for text size why not use pinch or tap to increase or decrease text size

  17. Quick compose from text conversation list instead of contact list

    Have you thought about designing the quick compose to start from the conversation list instead of the contacts list?

    What I mean is I'd like to use quick compose to reply back to a person that is already in my conversation list which is usually the case instead of having search for them again from the contact list to send a message. I've used other messaging apps that had quick compose setup like that and it was very useful.

  18. Bigger contact photos and typing indicator

    I know I mentioned it before and you have told me that you're planning to add more features but can you tell me specifically if you plan to add a typing indicator? It would just be very useful and I do love the app and would hate to uninstall it. Also I would like to a bigger display of contact photos I love seeing my friends faces while texting them.

  19. Delete after the first click on delete, instead give the option to redo the action.

    Currently you have to tap twice on the delete button, to delete something. Instead you could delete after one click, and give the option to redo the action. That way, you would have longer time to think about your action and maybe redo, also you would need one click less.
