  1. Be able to assign different wallpapers for individual messages

    Although I am a fan of Textra I was wondering if we could get the feature were you can change the wallpaper for EACH individual conversation?? I think if it could be implemented somehow it would make Textra elite against the compition

  2. Compact SMS Messages from contact level

    The Compact SMS Messages option is currently available from general settings, but it would be great to have it from the contact level.

    Sending sms with accents is supported by mobile service provider and devices here in North America as far as I know, but it seems some sms get lost or truncated when sent to other countries. For this reason, I would like to be able to turn this option from the contact level.

  3. Option to order threads

    I'm used to seeing threads being listed with the latest at the top following down - but now I'm seeing threads with messages from today being shown way down the thread list. Not sure if this is a bug or a setting (if its a setting, I can't figure out where it is).

  4. Hold to Record - Can this be moved?!

    Surely there is a better place to put this option rather than where it is. I'm constantly hitting it without wanting to. Have it under the (+) or the ability to turn it off. PLEASE.

  5. Allow to select custom music for notifications

    Currently Textra only allow to select native sounds for notifications. Allowing to select any sound/music added by the user on the device (on the sdcard for example) would be really nice.

  6. Add compose new message button color picker

    I do appreciate the recently added color picker for primary and accent colors and message bubbles. But, there's no way to change the color of the floating compose new message button on the bottom right of the screen.

    To me, this makes the main screen of the app look too plain. Allowing is to change the color of the floating button would make it pop. Please add a color picker for that button. Thanks!

  8. Fairly serious MMS reception issue

    I was recently sent an MMS. I have sent and received countless of them before but this one is is special because it does not appear anywhere. Textra occasionally says it has repeatedly tried and failed to receive it, which which I already know because the unread count on the Homescreen notification overlay keeps going up (like into the 40s and beyond, probably, except my phone died then because of the damage the constant attempts are doing to my battery life).   9. Remove black bar at the top of the app.

    There is a th in black bar about the size of my status bar at the top of my screen only when I use Textra. I'm currently using an Amazon Fire Phone and I even paid to remove the ads because I enjoy this app so much! If you need me to send some screen shots I'm more than happy to! I've even tried to enable and disable my status bar which is hidden curently but to no avail.

  10. [Bug] Textra Quick Compose shows up on Lock Screen when Sensitive data setting turned on for Textra

    Expected Functionality:
    Textra Quick Compose does not appear on the Lock Screen yet still accessible by swiping down from the top while unlocked.

    Resulting Functionality:
    Textra Quick Compose appears on the Lock Screen with the text 'Contents Hidden'. Textra Quick Compose still accessible by swiping down from the top while unlocked.

    These Settings are turned on:
    - Settings > Sound & Notification > When device is locked > Show all notification content
    - Settings > Sound & Notification > App notifications > Textra > Sensitive > Enabled

    OS: Android Lollipop 5.1.1 ( LMY47Z )
    Phone Model: Nexus 6

  11. Use my stock or camera app instead of one used in texta

    Just the ability to use camera on phone in texting. Usually it customized, if on Android, and has more options.

  12. Project Fi support

    Need better support for Project Fi users, it seems when the service switches from T-Mobile to Sprint and visa versa the APN settings are invalid and triggering error notifications. The only way to fix this is to clear the app data but next time it switches networks the errors come back. Maybe have an option for Project Fi users where you periodically run the routine used during the initial setup to gather the APN settings or allow multiple APN settings?

  13. Why it gets so much time for usefull features

    Usefull features arent available. Like private box and delivery notification tone and...... (which are available on other messaging apps) but feature like system fonts get into the app so soon?
    Its like textra cant do it and just pick easy ones to deploy in the app

  14. Delivery notification in drawer with sound

    Sometimes some people are unreachable or they have turned of they phone. So i send a sms to them and i need to know when the sms is delivered to them so i can call them (because of prepaid lines cant call u back sometimes) and i cant wait and not blink to see the toast and when i send more than one message to different people i need to know which one is delivered.   17. Add History to the tabs of a new discussion

    Currently when you start a new discussion (by pressing +) and then press the +[persons icon] you get to choose from 3 screens - groups, contacts and preferred. My idea is to add to that a screen with the calls history so you can easily SMS people you have recently talked to, even if they are not in your contacts list, This is most convenient as many times people agree to send some precise information via SMS .during the call.
