  1. smart emojis

    When typing a text message, if a word has an emoji related to it, then it will show differently to typer and allow typer to click it and see related emojis options. If choose a suggested emoji it replaces that word with emoji. Much like Verizon Messages and their smart emoji ability. It rocks!

  6. To have the date/time written with every SMS and MMS

    In other popular messaging apps, the date and time (or ex: Monday 6:47 pm if in current week)was displayed with every message sent and received, SMS and MMS. Although I know it could be pretty annoying for other users, this really helped me stay on top of things and reply on time and know how much time passed since_____ etc. Keeping this optional would be great for all users I think

  7. Add support for template auto sms text like "leaving office at hh:mm:ss"

    I use a custom widget to generate an automatic sms as described in the idea title. It would be nice if textra supported auto sms on its own.

    Give us a setting (like on iphone) so that each person may have his or her own text tone so we know by sound who is texting us

  10. option to remind user if sending smiley faces or pictures there msg Willie converted to mms and they will be charged

    If sending smileys or pictures remind sender it will be charged and give three options, send as is, send but remove smiles and pictures or don't send

  15. Sister, an iphone user, gets mad...

    I love using Textra, and with other Android users, everything is fine. However, what looks like one long msg when I type it, ends up as three or four texts on my Sister's iphone. Plus, sometimes the parts come out of order so whatever I'm trying to tell her gets all confused. How about an Apple compatibility setting for sending msgs to OS users?

  18. add more theme & accent colors with different tones

    Apps like Shuttle+ (music player) lets user to choose color (e.g. Red) and then choose one of some color tone. (For example: cherry red, bright red, dark red, blood red, almost white red and so long and so far) it would be great to have more to choose from by clicking on any colors and getting its tones with different hue, shadings, brightness etc. Hope you understood what I suggesting :D

  20. Undeliverable messages

    I get in occasion messages that are not delivered. There is no notification to remind you that the message was not delivered. You should get a repeating notice not just a small icon on the top of the screen
