  1. Settings export/save

    Please add the ability to save settings to SD card or export to a file. Being able to bring back my customizations when upgrading my device would be extremely useful.

  2. I'd like to get notifications on my Gear S using Gear S Notification Extender app.

    I can get Textra notifications through the Gear Manager app but Gear S Notification Extender is so much better to use when you want to reply to or delete things. I used another text app for a while but prefer Textra over it and its only short coming for me is what I wrote above.

    When you get a new message and you then open the app, the conversation that opens is the one with a new message.

  8. Ability to communicate with fellow Textra users via wifi

    Like imessage and hangouts etc when connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data fellow Textra users receive messages outside of your text plan.

  11. Air-View to preview messages

    Not sure if Air View is still only available on Samsung phones, but it's one of the first things I noticed was missing in Textra when moving from stock messenger.

    Option to hover over a message from the main screen to preview it (if the message text is longer than the width of the screen)

  12. Private Box

    This Sms app should have private box and a password for it to be able to unlock it. I suggest 4-12 numbers for the password because sometimes if the password is for 4numbers only, it is easy for other people to guess my password. I prefer 4 or more.

  13. Adding an apostrophe

    When I ad an apostrophe (like in we've)the keypad automatically reverts back to letters from symbols ready to ad the next letter - like my old iPhone 4 used to do by default.

    The default samsung messaging app allows me to do a number of things when I receive an audio file including the ability to download the file, not just preview it

    Set a message limit!!! Please! Even just a global limit would be fine.

    This function would simply delete old messages when the limit is reached.

  16. My app shows shows two times next to received messages,spaced an hour apart. They should only show the received time.

    Show the actual times next to messages.. Also include an option for a 12hr clock format.

  17. Add to People

    Default messaging on HTC One allows a new number text to be added to People (contacts). That would a great feature here - allow a new number to create a contact entry.

  19. Duplicate icon notification on status bar?

    Sometimes I receive 2 icon notifications in status bar on Samsung Galaxy S6, one white and one colored (I use per contact notifications). When I acknowledge the message, white icon persists. Any ideas? Thanks.

  20. desktop client for Mac / ability to integrate with messages app on OSX

    texture is by far the best messaging app I have used on Android. the only thing keeping me from abandoning hang out completely and exclusively using textra is lack of more adept cross-platform functionality. a desktop client for or the ability to add a extra account to the existing messages app on Mac would be phenomenal. Pushbullet integration and capabilities are a step in the right direction, but it's not enough to allow me stop using hangouts... And I REALLY love to be able to stop using hangouts lol.
