create a log of sent mesaages
sent messages are not integrated into my phones log so i dont know when a message with multiple receivers is delivered to any of them

add the option to create custom vibration pattern for notifications
create a custom vibration pattern with milliseconds on vibrate and off vibrate (I'm not sure how to explain it but this is how go sms pro used to do it)

Android Wear improvement with or like Coffee app
Coffee app is awesome for Android Wear but it's limited to SMS only and not MMS due to Android's limitation on notification access to MMS. it's not a SMS client but rather a notification handler that allows new messages to be sent and/or canned responses. There are two options here, one being easier than the other. 1) add setting for Textra to only notify on AW (Android Wear) when a MMS is received but not SMS. Then coffee can handle the SMS notifications. 2) integrate Coffee into Textra or Coffee like features.

add overview of assigned notification sounds to contacts
add an overview of asigned notifications to contacts so one can asigne them when app is installed and not hving to wait to receive a message from someone in order to set the notification

Lock message so it can't be deleted without prompt.
For important messages. Have screen to view list of locked messages for quick access

allow different language keyboards to be saved to a specific contact.
I write in various language depending on whom I'm writing to and it's annoying having to switch back and forth.

Option to group messages from certain contacts in separate folders
I'd like to have the option to group certain types of messages (like my Banks' SMS, unknown numbers, etc.) in different folders so that they don't take up space in my actual conversation list.

Automatically Hide The Keyboard
There should be an option to automatically hide the keyboard. When I open a message thread I all the screen space to be used to display past messages. This provides maximum context for understanding what was said in the last message. I always want to see this. The keyboard takes up half the screen and greatly reduces the context. It's a pain to always need to manually close the keyboard. I read 3X as much as I write. If I want to reply, I just click on the reply box and the keyboard automatically appears. Delayed sending
A settings feature that delays sending by a user defined time (eg. 5 Seconds) and allows the user to cancel the sending of the text. Thus providing users with he ability to stop texts being sent to the wrong person or with spelling mistakes etc.

Ability to send audio and files / Option to remove emoji panel
I send more audio and files than pictures, and would love to see the option to send those added to Textra.
Secondly, I never use emojis, and would love a way to turn off/hid the emoji panel.

Option to lock conversations so that no one ill-intentioned can delete them.

Save new number to Contacts
Where's the option to save a new phone number to your Contacts list? Kitkat Messaging and Messaging Classic had the ability to do this.

I suggest you have an option to quick reply on the lock screen!
I disabled my lock screen notification for tetra but tetra requires the phone to be unlocked first, be useful while hands are full or someone else is answering the text instead if I didn't have to unlock my phone to quick text
