  2. Sender Highlighted.

    As it is now, it is hard to see who the text is from when in dark mode. Would love the sender to be highlighted on each bubble.

  3. Use custom notification sounds from Contacts app

    Rather than having to redefine custom notification sounds for each person in the Textra app (after getting an initial message from them), use the custom notification sounds defined in the native contacts app.

  6. Incorporate a sending bar that shows the progression of your message being sent

    Show that your message is being sent with a sending/loading bar that moves with the progression of the message being sent. When your message has sent, show a conformation on the screen along with the optional sound to show your message has sent.

    Hi, it looks like there may be a bug in the way the indexer/message optimizer works. I bought a new phone and installed textra on it. I opened textra and it indexed existing messages, and received a message as well. Then I did a restore of all my previous sms messages from my old phone. Textra pulled in all the messages I had sent to my friends, but does not display any of their responses. All of my conversations look like one-way conversations where I sent them messages but never got responses. The default messaging app does show all of…

  12. Font in messaging to match the font set on the phone option

    I don't see why there isn't an option to match the font set on your phone. For some reason in the support page it shows the text in the font set on my phone, lol. Also, if there is this option and i just couldn't find it please let me know!

  13. I'd like to be able to set a default app for adding pics and videos. frustrating to have to pick the same app every time you add a picture.

    when hitting the "+" and choosing picture option it should ask to set a default app to choose picture. same for video.

  16. option to change the mic from audio record to Google voice input

    there's a mic button not the one on my keyboard but in the so itself. we should have the option to use it for Google voice input

  17. Update the attachment menu with option to remove Textra's emoji keyboard

    the attachment menu could love much nicer with better (bigger icons) more spaced out and the option to remove the emoji area. A lot of people now have emojis in their default keyboard. Just add an option in settings.

  18. Make the app screen expand into the on-screen button background.

    The way this app expands color into the notification bar is phenomonal, now expand that into the on-screen button background, and this app will look far better than any others.

  20. Combine Quick Reply + Floating Notification

    I like the floating Notification, and I want to continue using it. however, it doesn't really do anything besides take up screen real estate. The message doesn't even scroll so I can only see the first line of a text and nothing more. Here's what I'd like to see: scrolling text for the floating notifications, and an option to slide it down to see the full text / conversation from the notification. It would keep both features and add more functionality for the Floating notifications, and at the same time giving us more of that sweet Material Design goodness. :B
