  3. Option to for either current new message notification or "Classic" pop-up window for new messages. Thanks!

    Current notification works fine. There are situations when I just want the whole message to pop-up as the app used to do. I figure you could call it "classic". :) love the app!

  12. Removing the notification from the top bar/drop down menu when swiping on the drop down menu as opposed to marking it as read

    much like the stock app allowing the user to simply remove the notification without opening the message in the drop down menu

  13. A singular notification image at the top bar instead of a separate one for each different conversation

    everytime I receive several different texts the notification bar at the top of my screen becomes cluttered with individual notification images for each seperate conversation. perhaps if we limited the bar notification to a singular all encompassing one it would take up less space

  15. Random color theme

    Add a theme option, where user doesn't only picks one color theme, but lets Textra randomly do the choice. Textra randomizes colors, different for each contact. It makes messaging more fun and it makes it harder to mistake who you're writing to.

  17. Make the sms boxes rounder and add one line of preview on the main page

    in the single discussion page, make the boxes edges more round. Plus in the main page (the one with all discussions) add one or two lines of the messages, the spaces between each discussions is too big.

  18. Visible lock screen notification

    Handcent lights up the screen when you get a message so the lock screen notification is very obvious and visible (just like on iPhones). Would love to see Textra do that - most of the time I don't notice I have a message unless I pay attention to the blinking light.
