  2. Make the action bar more narrow

    Love the new design, but the new action bar seems too wide and hides more of the previous texts than before. It would be great if it could be made a bit more narrow.

    I also think the contact's name could be moved over to the right, next to their picture, leaving more room for a wider 'back' button.

  4. Allow setting maximum # messages per thread to reduce storage usage

    Textra uses almost 500 mb of data storage but I don't want to delete entire threads... Still need to access relevant information from the last 500 messages or so, would be nice if it auto deletes the older ones!

  5. SMS as Text Message - Format Change

    Hi,

    First of all, a big big THANKS for bringing back sending contacts as sms/ text message.

    Is it possible to format the message in a more readable format. Plus, when selecting multiple contact numbers belong to SAME person - can those be clubbed together.

    Is it possible to add type of phone number like Mobile, Work, Home, Fax, Other

    Example:

    John Snow
    Mobile # +1 234 567 8901

    Catalyn Smith
    Home # +1 789 234 5678
    Work # +1 456 123 7890

    Robert Targeryan
    Mobile # +1 123 456 7890

  7. have an option for templates

    I shud be able to save some routine messages (such as birthday wishes) as templates to be quickly inserted in a message.

  10. Add ability to search a contacts name, not just content of text messages.

    add ability to search a contacts name in the search feature. if I type "Chris" it only searches for that text in the actual text message and not the contact's name.

  11. show number of texts per person in contact list next to each contact

    when you first open Textra, and you see each contact that you've been texting, to see a total of texts for each person would be nice. GoSms has that feature. that being said, I much prefer Textra over Gosms.thank you

  12. Textra suggestions

    Textra is a great app — fast, smooth, simple, and customizable. I'd love to see it improve even more. Here are some suggestions:
    • Display unread count in conversation list.
    • In the conversation list, for group messages, display initials for contacts without pictures.
    • In conversation list, have option to display newest conversations at the bottom (consistent with message view, easier to reach with one hand).
    • In conversation list, swipe right to archive conversation (hides it from list).
    • Options to change incoming text color, outgoing text color, timestamp color, bubble color, primary color, accent color, and background…

  17. Swiping away the notification in the pull down does not mark the message as read.

    Right now, when you swipe away the notification, the text gets marked as read. I would like the option to chose whether the message get marked as read or not.

  18. Change The Floating Action Button Color

    Allow us to change the color of the floating action button as well, I think it would be a cool and easy way to further personalize the app with choice of color! Just a thought.

    optional of having the contacts in a list form, instead of how it is know ,and have the individual options in the settings. It would be so much easier the way go sms pro has .And some new bubble styles would be cool
