  1. size of new message indication in conversation

    the size of the new message indicator in the conversation list is very small and hard to see since it's on top of different contact pictures. would like a way to change the size of that indicator and/or otherwise customize it so it's easier to see at a glance. changing the color is a nice option but doesn't do it for me.

  3. No text notifications while driving

    Connect to vehicle by Bluetooth so when driving you have no notifications & it sends message out that "I'm driving right now get back to you later."

  4. Review scheduled messages

    It would be helpful to be able to view all upcoming scheduled messages. Now I have to scroll through each contact to find each one. Thanks!

    this app needs a back up option. so when you get a new phone everything in the app transfers over and you don't lose anything

  6. A Good Thought

    Quite awhile ago there was a texting app that had multiple designs plus extras to let you set up your personal backgrounds, like having a personal stationary. Also add sounds to the message. I chose the antique typewriter key sounds for messaging. I really enjoyed personally adding a personal touch .

  11. Switch from bulk to chat in message

    it would be great if there was a switch at the top of the individual message screen that allowed switching between chat and bulk messaging. I always forget to switch it in settings and end up sending the wrong type of message. thank you!

  12. Not looking to submit an idea, looking for support

    I have had this issue for a year , my paid Textra no longer populate my contact list when I reinstall. It used to work long ago, now I'm getting an incomplete contact list.

  13. Smart Watch Integration

    Hello I love your app and just got a Samsung smart watch. I was looking into the possibility of being able to integrate Textra into the watch to receive messages. I believe you would have to have a watch app as well. Thank you for your time and consideration.

  15. Different bubble colors in dark mode

    It would be great if we could specify different colors for bubbles based on whether you're using light mode or dark mode. Sometimes a color looks great in one mode but not the other!

  16. be able to add attachments other than pictures

    it seems like there is no direct way in the Textra app to send an attachment that isn't a picture. ex. audio files

  17. Block @ messages

    Please create or enable an option to block all messages coming from a web page or email address containing an @ in their sender ID, as these always contain links that are surely harmful or malicious.

  18. Textra Quick Compose Keyboard

    When using Textra Quick Compose the text is sent by touching Send in the notification bar. Instead, add a key to the keyboard that allows one to send from there. I'm using Android 12 on a Galaxy S22 Ultra.
