  1. Bubble text color customization

    It would be nice to be able to change the conversation text color to something else than the predefined 4 colors (black, white and two grays).

    As a new user, I love the design and customizability, but the one visual element that keeps taking me out of the experience is the thin white stroke on certain elements. Please add an option to remove it.

  6. Add "Copy the code" to Textra Heads up buttons

  7. Option to sort MMS by sent time

    On my Android Note 9 (T-Mobile), if my phone has been out of range of service (or off), when I get back in range, MMS messages come in and are ordered by the receive time. I can swipe left and see both the sent and receive times, and usually the messages are not in the order they were sent. It would be nice to have an option to sort by sent time. Thanks!

  8. Easier Smart Reply

    Can you make the app more like google messages where you can tap the smart reply without having to hit send after?

  9. Retransmit failed messages

    Retransmit failed messages when a valid link exists. In areas with intermittent cell service, when system again has a valid IP, send the pending messages versus prompting me to "tap to send." Make this configurable as it may eat up bandwidth. Not sure you can do message checkpointing like Facebook messenger does. The later is my message client of choice (non sms) when I am remote.

  10. delete msgs by date

    allow to delete one full day of msgs by selecting specific date . some ppl send long msgs but many send multiple short msgs so one thought is 6vor 8 one line msgs instead of all in one msg. Deleting 50+ for same day is slow, it would be so much faster and efficient

  12. Make double hit to send immediately optional

    When I double hit send, it sends immediately. But this is always an accident and I lose my delay. The delay is a great feature. Please make overriding it optional.

  13. RETRIEVE ANY AND ALL TEXTS

    my whole conversation disappeared I can't find pics or messages. months of texts are gone!! I need them all back! how can this happen!
    FIX THIS AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO NEVER LOSE MY TEXTS OR FULL CONVERSATION AT ANY TIME! IF ACCIDENTALLY ERASED DELETED- RECOVER ANY OF THEM OR FULL STREAM.

  14. Conversation Counter

    Would be nice to have a counter on the top letting me know how many conversations I actually have going on.. Those tend to build up in numbers. Just had a spring clean and deleted 17 I didn't need no more. Just how many I left as is I don't know. To many to bother counting. Hence missing a counter..

  17. Create named groups that are saved, can be edited, or deleted

    I have a group of associates that I need to txt a few times a week, being able to add them to a group would be time saving, I have created such a group in my address book, but textra is not recognizing it

  20. Additional Swipe Actions

    Add or edit the options for actions when swiping left or right on contacts in main message panel. Instead of just deleting or calling, I'd like an option to unread messages there. Perhaps we could have 4 options total (2 icons show up on each swipe) instead of editing. The current two, as well as "mark all as unread" and perhaps a camera icon to then take a pic to send to that contact? Additionally it could be nice to have a mark as read and mark as unread toggle.
