  1. Additional Swipe Actions

    Add or edit the options for actions when swiping left or right on contacts in main message panel. Instead of just deleting or calling, I'd like an option to unread messages there. Perhaps we could have 4 options total (2 icons show up on each swipe) instead of editing. The current two, as well as "mark all as unread" and perhaps a camera icon to then take a pic to send to that contact? Additionally it could be nice to have a mark as read and mark as unread toggle.     please make a setting that will only receive texts from people authorized. I get pages of unsolicited porn. Will have to move to another text platform if this continues

    make the ability to automatically respond to messages when you are out of town or on vacation so when someone sends a text they automatically get a reply from my account saying " I am out of town and won't be responding to any texts until I am back from Antarctica on the 20th of the month. in the meantime, call my boss or my secretary."

  8. Number annoyance

    Hi,
    I like the app, but there's one thing that really annoys me and forces me to use my phone's default app sometimes. I use authorization through SMS codes lots of times and it requires me to copy and paste a number code into a different app. Textra recognizes every number sequence as a telephone number and clicking on one starts a call without the ability to copy. my suggestion is to add a dialog box which allows number copying.

    After a phone reset, all the blocked numbers have to be blocked again, and muted messages also give tone again, Please make some sort of setting that data of blocked messages with muted messages settings can be restored after reset of app reinstall.

    Can we get a thumbs down vote? I see posts on here that are irrelevant. The users aren't using settings properly. Or they are old posts. Either way, it's taking up space & time for improvement...

  12. Dates and count for posts!

    I would love to have reference date. And/or at least a count of how many posts I'm looking through. lots of good ideas on here! But I'm not sure when they were posted. Or if the devs already implemented.
    I just scrolled through some ideas I had already. I don't know how long those have been posted.

  17. Turn off SMS from emails

    I am receiving texts from email addresses which I 100% do not want. These messages are spam, making them even more annoying. please allow us to disable messages from email addresses.

  18. Cross-platform compatibility

    I think it would be great to add the ability to message from my desktop - even a web browser would be sufficient. sometimes I just prefer to not have to be looking down at my phone.

    Textra now supports 6-digit OTPs when using COPY option in thread view and as Copy button in SMS notification. Some websites use other lengths of OTPs averaging from 4 to 8 digits. Please, add support for those, too
