  1. Blocklist a number series

    I want to block a number series. Spammers tend to change their numbers by small increments to get around blocking, but they typically stay within the same area code plus 1 or 2 digits.
    For example, block all numbers that start with 555-12-***, or the entire 555 area code.

  2. Home Screen Widget

    Textra is nearly perfect already but is missing one thing...

    App needs a widget that can be custom sized on the home screen that either shows the most recent messages and/or a list of favorite contacts that show how many unread messages each one has.

  3. Quote Reply

    To be able to swipe right on a particular text message ... quote/copy the message ... and be able to reply specifically to that text message, like in WhatsApp or FB Messenger. We get multiple messages throughout the day. This would be an easy way to show a connected reply to a specific message.

  4. Pretty please let me bulk download all my chat photos

    I have probably 50-100 photos throughout my text history that I want to save to my gallery. I can't find where textra caches them in the file system, so I'm stuck noodling through my sms history saving them one by one. Mega lame! Would love to bulk save them, even if it's just in a zip on my rootfs

  16. Block iPhone message effects

    When you are in a group chat with people on iPhone, there is constant spam of 'Laughed at' or 'Emphasized' or 'Liked' and then the entire text back. It constantly crashes the app if you have more than one throwing them back and forth and makes messaging nearly useless.

    If there is a way to block or filter/auto delete these messages, it would make messaging so much easier.

    Can we please sort unread messages to the top of the message list? This is much more handy when you get text messages from multiple people and can't respond immediately.

    Pourriez-vous corriger une faute de grammaire française dans l'option
    "Partager par mail"
    L'objet du message est par défaut :
    "Partager depuis Textra" avec er
    Et devrait être
    "Partagé depuis Textra" avec é
    Voilà c'est, à mon avis, le seul défaut de votre application 😊
