Receive Text soft sound
Option to have a Recieve Message sound play when the text page is open thats not the usual notification sound, just soft sound similar to the Sent Sound

Is it possible to have new messages show up at top reducing error of missed messages?

Double sim: separating or sorting discussions.
For double sims, it would be great to be able to dissociate the 2, so that the messages related to sim 1 are not. mixed with those related to the sim 2. Ideal when you have one sim for private use and the other sim for professional use. If this is not possible, then allow the creation of "folders" in which we could categorize the threads.

Minimal Full Black and White modes
I have the entire app blacked out with OLED black, including the bubbles, so it looks like there aren't bubbles. This doesn't work with system themeing because the background turns white but the bubbles stay black.
Can we have a full minimal black/white modes? Or the ability to change bubble color with dark/light mode in order to achieve this?1 vote -

Custom Contact Notification Icon
hello, prior to a recent update, the notification icon style would adopt any custom themes for an individual contact and use that as the notification icon. for example, my thread with my mom is a different color (pink) than my default color, and anytime she texted me the notification icon that popped up on my lock screen would be pink (so I instantly knew it was her w/o having to look at the name). similarly, I have my partner's picture in his contact and when he texts me his picture used to be the notification icon. please bring that feature…

Ability to reply with emojis to individual messages
Really miss the ability to reply to each individual message someone sends. For ex. If someone sends one text with something happy and follows it up with a sad text, being able to add an emoji reaction to each message individually would be way preferable to sending a general emoji reply.

when a text arrives, audiblly give me the option for the app to read it aloud or ignore.

individual colors
can you please bring back the personal color choice on the lock screen for the shape icons . I used that to be able to tell who was texting without having to unlock my phone.

Auto Reply w/ scheduling
I agree with everyone's desire for an option to create Automated Replies, but my two cents is that I would specifically like the feature to be able to be scheduled for a specific time-frame. Not just time-wise, but also over however many days needed. Of course, with the ability to customize what the message says.

new messages received should be displayed at the top of the list of messages for easier locating. Once viewed they should follow normal storage protocol.

Deleting old messages
I would like to be able to delete all messages older than a specified date and keep all messages prior to that date. Have this option for all recipients or a selected recipient.
