  5. The ability to set our "favorites" in app I stead of using the android contacts

    I'd like to be able to pick the contacts I want to have as favorites (available when quick composing) in the app, rather than the app importing my android favorites.

    The biggest draw for me is I'd like to be able to have group conversations on that list.

  6. Retrievable Trash Bin

    I accidentally deleted a conversation with the vet instead of a spam conversation immediately below it with the same color and hash symbol. it would be nice if deleted messages were sent to a folder in settings somewhere or something that could be emptied out, but where you could also retrieve accidentally deleted conversations.

  7. Blacklist by Contact

    Right now, you have to know the actual number to blacklist. It would be helpful to be able to pick a name from my contact list, and have all the numbers associated with that contact be automatically added.

    Schedule messages to be repeated daily, weekly or monthly. can be used to remind the recipient to do something like "take your meds" or "feed the cat".

  11. Textra AI - Learning your common words and Phrases

    Can the team consider allowing Textra to automatically learn words and phrases based on the number of times they have been used individually and together in the past and provide them as predictive text words and phrases for new sms.

    Also textra could change its predictive suggested words and phrases based on the individual recipient knowing the common threads between individuals.

  14. badge count not clearing

    I have several individual conversations where the badge count will not clear, even after being read. It does disappear from the notification bar and from the app itself, but remains on the individual conversation in the conversation list. I've tried a number of different things, even deleting the conversation, but then it will happen again later. This only happens to some, not all, of my conversations. How can I get them to clear?

  15. notification sound

    can we have an option to change the notification sound directly from the app? I recall in the past we used to be able to do that but now with my last Android 11 update I'm not able to do that on Textra. I use a very loud notification sound for Textra because I am hard of hearing but I do not want to hear that sound for every notification on my phone but now with Android 11 you have to use one notification sound for everything.

  16. Fix issue where wifi drops when group message is received

    Currently the app is unusable as my wifi drops every time I receive a group message on textra. As soon as I switch apps to the default messaging app the problem disappears.

    Everything is amazing in this app EXCEPT, if you have a notch at the top of your phone. I wish you could customize the notch area to make the app completely FULL screen. The app looks bad because it won't blend in with that notch.

    Textra has issues sending photos internationally. Every photo says "failed". The messaging app that comes with my Samsung has no issues
