Send delay option for Individual contacts
The ability to have a "send delay" option, just for a specific contact (instead of its current global on/off).
Use case: Being able to undo that remorseful text for selective contacts 😉

Allow use of non-Google contacts database
I use a Memento database for contacts to give more flexibity for contact mgmt and access to contacts.
To be able to relate a contact's phone number in Textra to their name (company also maybe?) in a DB other than Google's would be awesome. Currently we're forced to maintain two databases.1 vote -

Since half of the reason I love using Textra is setting a custom color for each of my contacts, we should be able to set group chats to be multicolored, or even just rainbow 🌈

Galaxy Watch App Compatibility
This app needs to be compatible with smart watches. I just seen that Pulse and Handcent have an app out already. You're one the most popular messaging apps I know and recommend to everyone. Textra really needs to make an app compatible with the smart watches like pulse SMS and handcent have already done.

Auto Reply - Away from Phone
an option to set set afk/afp times in app would be very useful, with auto replies of course. There are certain things I don't want to mute while I'm sleeping/working, such as texts from certain people without muting everything. this would be a useful feature for many people, I imagine. already been suggested before

Top box color
It would be nice to change the Top contact box color during a text message . I would change it to The regular theme color. doesn't need to be the full contact color

Notification Counter for the Textra Icon
Hello, I noticed when I received a text message, there i no counter of how many messages you received in the icon of Textra. Not sure if there is really none or I just cannot find how to enable it. :)

colouring SIM icon to help dual SIM users
in dual SIM phones, Textra SIM icon is coloured in grey for both.
it would help users if the SIM icons are coloured differently for SIM1 and SIM24 votes -
different ringtones for dual SIM
apparently, it is not possible to associate a different ringtone for each SIM in dual phones.
This feature is instead allowed by stock SMS app in Android 11.
