    Is it possible to open Textra to the received messages instead of a new message? I want to be able to get to my received messages and don't always want to type a new message. Thanks!

    they have it in the stock messages, why don't we have it here yet? it's a very important feature to have at the base minimum for such an amazing texting app. please consider this.

  4. Sort All Texts by Date

    Would love to have an option to view texts by date, rather than thread. For instance, if looking for something I know I got on Saturday afternoon, but not sure who from. Useful utility.

  5. Gradient color options!

    The option to choose gradient colors would be a really nice touch. The minimalist look is very appeasing to the eye, but adding a small sense of depth with gradient accents and text bubbles would push it over the edge.

    when sending a large video it can sometimes take quite a while if the mobile connection is poor. it would be nice to see a progress bar or dial to give an indication of how long it might take.

    Those iMessage Liked/Emphasized/Loved "Message" are a virus on my phone right now. Can a method be developed to ignore those notifications?

  13. Spam blocker

    A filter that allows me to block certain characters or words. I would like to block all texts coming from spam email addresses. Instead of blocking them individually (which is pointless), is like to be able to block any message where the sender has an @ in their name/number.

  14. schedule message intelligence

    If you schedule a message to be sent later, that message should not go out if that person has replied in the meantime. often I use this feature to remind the person of something I've asked them to do, and they reply, but I now have to go and delete the scheduled message which may be something that I forgot to do. The idea would be that you pause the message and put it right on top of the conversation

  16. SEND LOCATION/LIVE TRIP PROGRESS

    When sending a text, can you add an option like GLYMPSE so we can enter our destination and ETA so that the person we're texting can view our live location/live trip progress and know when we have arrived whether it is to meet up with them or another place for purposes of safety, proof of arrival or convenience. Thanks so much for TEXTRA. I switched from Verizon Message+ because it kept crashing and so glad I googled best rated texting apps. Yours was named as #1. Love it.

  18. Add support for OnePlus quick reply in landscape

    Hi,
    It appears we can't have a notification icon on the AOD interface with xiaomi mi 9. Mayenne you can work on this if you've time ! I'm a happy user since i've an Android Phone and it is the first time i've a problem with the app so great work so far !!!
