search function
Consider expanded search option. i.e. search by individual conversation and MMS (attachment or picture) Prior texting app I used had a search by mms within conversation. Was rather useful.

some old features to group msg.
The way it use to be. That tones assigned to individuals would come through to group messages. Tone A to person A, Tone B to person B. In a one on one conversation AND in group conversations. Just as it use to be with Android Oreo. Most of my conversations are team/group. The tones default to the standard tone.

Help to find emojis faster
Hi,
Would be great to add an option which helps to find faster an emoji by typing a keyword in the texting area.
For example, when I type "dog", a dog emoji appears above. If I type ":)", a smiley emoji appears.
This is something I've already seen in other apps.

battery on update?
suddenly the battery in my. s10+is about dead at the end of the evening and it looks like this app is sucking all the power away. granted I've never really looked at battery usage before, but I've never had to charge more than once every two days. Facebook messenger is the next likely culprit!

It would be nice to can put a background wallpaper from our own gallery in background for the conversations and the home page too.

Group Msg Flexibility / Innovation
It's gr8 that u have the Bulk vs Chat option. It would b even better if u added a 3rd option that allows users to decide, when composing a msg (b4 pressing send), if they want replies 2 b sent to everyone (chat) or just to them (bulk). I've sent group msgs but forgot to turn off chat and ppl complained (understandably so) as it can sometimes be numerous responses. Unfortunately, in cutrent state, the sender can't do anything to stop chat replies once msg is sent. Just think... if u are the 1st to create such an enhancement....standard/trend setter.

Option for Color/Contact theme to Not Affect top Bar
Whenever you change the main color of your contacts, the top bar (where it says "Textra" and when in a thread, the contact name) matches that color.
I would like to see an option that prevents the top bar from being affected by color changes, so it always matches the theme (light, dark, black) while the bubbles, notifications, accents, etc. remain colored.

typing icon and read icon
For the next up date can you please add a bubble with some dots that lets us know if someone is typing and when we send a message can it tell us that they read it or not and can you also add more emojis

Archive Feature
I love this app, I will continue to give it a 5 star rating regardless of the outcome of this request.
The one thing I feel as though this application is lacking is an archive feature. It's the one thing that comes with the native Android application that Textra doesn't have.
Personally, I don't delete text message. It would be nice to hide messages so that it doesn't feel as cluttered.
