  1. Archive Messages

    I sometimes have a high amount of text threads with my friends and family. I have to save and lock text messages from certain people because of my child's custody case.
    I don't want to see all the separate messages until I need to respond.
    I would like an option to be able to archive it in a folder unril5i get a new message.
    We don't have the option to do that. We only can blacklist it, and that doesn't help. Lol

    Do I think it would be great if there was an option to hide the text thread, or…

  2. Discard composition

    I'm a little surprised that your app doesn't have an option to discard a message that's currently being typed. let's say you have a 1000 character message and then you decide it'd be better to send an email. There's no way currently to clear those 1000 characters except for hitting the backspace key and holding it down for the next 30 seconds.

  3. Pin icon to heart icon

    Please change the pin icon to heart icon. Pins look just ugly next to our favorite contacts. Add a small separation header betwen pinned and pinned sections.

  4. Time stamps

    Add time stamps such as "favorite", "today".."last week" etc within a nice short header to separate messages in groups and ✓ / ✓✓ symbols to mark all messages under the group as read/unread.

  7. highlighting pinned texts

    First, I love Textra. Thank you for being awesome. Second, I have a lot of pinned text threads. It can be a challenge to scroll to where the pinned threads end and other threads begin. The thumbtack is helpful, but blends in with the other text. It would be helpful if I can highlight pinned threads differently than the unpinned threads, so I can quickly see where my pinned threads end when I look at my list. Maybe a accent color for the thumb tack, or a different background color. Thank you for letting me submit my idea!

    It would be awesome if you could bold the unread messages on the conversation screen. Sometimes it's hard to tell if you have an unread message because there's nothing to make it stand out besides the ring number.

  13. Day and Night Custom times

    I like to be in bed well before 9pm, but love the idea of the "day time" and "night time" transition, but the white screen is WAYYY too bright for me past bedtime and it's set at 10pm. it would be so wonderful to keep this day and night theme happening, but with custom times I can set myself.

  16. content based ringtone conditions

    we use a monitoring service that sends us up and down messages for various services. it would be awesome if we could define a different ringtone for messages containing the word "Up" and another ringtone for messages containing "Down", either simple "message contains string" conditions or with regex for the advanced user to also customise icinga / nagios alerting.

  19. Double-tap "Remove" action in notifications to remove message.

    Currently, the "remove" quick action in the notifications immediately removes the message, which is problematic since it's even easier to misclick. Adding a "double-tap" or a prompt to ensure you want to remove the message would correct that.

  20. postpone answer sms

    Could it be possible to postpone answer to an SMS. It could be very usefull to not forget to answer to someone after we read it sms but can't get time to respond or dont get enought informations right now about something
