  1. Conversation color background

    Please add option to apply the selected conversation color as the background color for each conversation on the conversation view. This would make looking for a specific conversation much easier than just looking at the contact image, especially when multiple conversations have the a same person(s) in common.

  2. Recycle Bin

    Is there a way to send deleted messages to a recycle bin?
    Thereby being able to retrieve messages later if needed.
    Maybe an additional feature could be that those messages could drop off or auto delete after 30 days.
    Or the user could simply manually delete all contents in the recycle bin.

  4. new messages indicator

    sometimes I'll have a group chat the receives 20+ messages before I can read it. it would be nice to have some sort of indication in the main chat window about which messages are new. alternatively, being able to jump to the first new message in a large chat would also work.

  7. "Rules" for incoming texts like MS Outlook

    I get lots of autonomous texts from equipment at work. Each comes in as its own conversation. It would be great if I could create rules based on text strings with each SMS to group each message or move them to another category or even its own notification.

    Hi Textra team, I wanted to propose the ability to have your pro users being able to back up their messages in the event of accidental deletion. That would be an awesome feature to have. I've been a textra user for several years now. Love it.

  10. sound or/and minor instant popup of info of delivery of message

    We would welcome is there is a notification sound and "mere" popup when the message is recieved. It would be helpful while using other apps and the reciever's phone is out of coverage of switched off so that we can understand so that we will know instantly when the reciever recieves the message.

  13. Alphabetize names in group contact lists

    When selecting names from list of grouped contacts, the names in the group contact list are in random order. Can you set it so contact group member names are alphabetized? This will help quickly select the group members to whom to send a message.

    iT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF THIS APP (JUST LIKE GOSMS AND OTHERS) IF THIS APP COULD LET YOU USE A PICTURE THEME AND YOUR OWN BACKGROUND FOR TEXTS AND CONVERSATIONS. OTHER SIMILAR APPS LET YOU EITHER USE THEIR PRE MADE THEME OR YOUR OWN. I WOULD REALLY LOVE THAT AND IT WILL MAKE IT HARDER FOR PPL TO READ MY TEXT FROM BEHIND. THANK YOU SO MUCH. PLEASE PUT THIS IN WITH YOUR NEXT UPDATE. I MAY HAVE TO SWITCH BACK TO THE OTHER FOR THAT REASON.

    it would be great if all new incoming messages would be highlighted a different color than all the other read messages. just having a small red number next to the Avatar is not so easy to notice.

  18. Mark SMS as read on boot

    When I reboot my phone I get a notification from the Android Messaging App of all the previous SMS messages.

    Please can you find a way to mark these as read so I don't get that notification. I am unable to uninstall that app so I can't disable them.
