  1. Open contact picture from conversation

    Right now, in order to open the contact picture, you have to go into contact details first. It would be nice to be able to tap the contact picture in the top left corner of the conversation screen and open the photo (either a zoomed overlay, or image viewer would work)

    I absolutely LOVE the myriad of settings but I would like to have a reset option to clear any changes I've made to my Textra app while I'm inebriated... 🤣

  11. Lock a entire conversation from being deleted on a per recipient basis.

    Example. If you want to protect an entire conversation with an other person from being accidentally deleted especially a setting for bulk deletion to skip locked recipients. It's really easy to accidentally delete a long thread, when you would have to protect each individual sms messages when conversation may be many messages long.

  13. Folder Organization

    I would love to see an organization update.

    this update would include the ability to create "Sections" (example, Family, Work, Unknown Numbers). If anyone in those groups messages you then it'll be placed into that collapsible section. Each section would have an order number associated to keep them in the order of most important to the least

    along with sections, maybe also include folders concepts as an alternative. it'll still have the regular message list layout, but you can have the option to swipe left/right to go into "organized folders" so you can see people in groups instead of jumbled…

    After sending or receiving a GIF it plays continuously in the message box. I would like a "hold-to-pause" or an actual pause/play button to control this.

  18. Searchable Emojis

    Sometimes an absurd amount of time is spent looking for just the right emoji. It would be incredibly convenient to be able to search for an emoji by keyword.

    An example if this done really well is the Windows 10 shortcut windows key + .; the search engine is great

  20. Change Conversation Name for Non-Group Conversations

    while there is currently support for changing group conversations but not for 1-on-1 conversations. this is vital with contacts that have multiple conversations due to having a work and personal phone.
